    Abstract: Some embodiments help protect an organization against ransomware attacks by combining incrimination logics. An organizational-level incrimination logic helps detect alert spikes across many machines, which collectively indicate an attack. Graph-based incrimination logics help detect infestations of even a few machines, and local incrimination logics focus on protecting respective individual machines. Graph-based incrimination logics may compare monitored system graphs to known ransomware attack graphs. Graphs may have devices as nodes and device network connectivity, repeated files, repeated processes or actions, or other connections as edges. Statistical analyses and machine learning models may be employed as incrimination logics. Search logics may find additional incrimination candidates that would otherwise evade detection, based on files, processes, IP addresses, devices, accounts, or other computational entities previously incriminated. Incrimination engine results are forwarded to endpoint protection systems, intrusion protection systems, authentication controls, or other intervention mechanisms to enhance monitored system security.

    Abstract: In an optical data transfer system, a beam modulator is configured to embed a set of data in an input beam. A multimode optical waveguide network has an in-coupling region for receiving the input beam. The multimode optical waveguide network is configured to guide the input beam to an out-coupling region of the multimode optical waveguide network. A spatial coherent detector is configured to measure a phase and an amplitude of an output optical field at multiple locations. The output optical field is at least partially defined by the input beam and thus exhibiting distortion effects caused by the passage of the beam through the multimode waveguide network. Signal processing is applied to an output of the spatial coherent detector, in order to compensate for the distortion effects, and thereby recover, from the output of the spatial coherent detector, the set of data embedded in the input beam.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for speech recognition correction include receiving a voice recognition input from an individual user and using a trained error correction model to add a new alternative result to a results list based on the received voice input processed by a voice recognition system. The error correction model is trained using contextual information corresponding to the individual user. The contextual information comprises a plurality of historical user correction logs, a plurality of personal class definitions, and an application context. A re-ranker re-ranks the results list with the new alternative result and a top result from the re-ranked results list is output.

    Abstract: Methods, computer systems, computer-storage media, and graphical user interfaces are provided for facilitating data transformations, according to embodiments of the present invention. In one embodiment, a set of example values including example input values that indicate data values to be transformed and example output values that indicate a desired form in which to transform data. Based on the set of example values, a data transformation function that is relevant to the set of example values is identified. The data transformation function is used to generate a transformation program to transform the example input values to the desired form in which to transform data.     Abstract: This document relates to memory access profiling. One example relates to a method or technique that can include obtaining samples collected when executing an application, the samples comprising sampled register values that were present in one or more registers of a processor when the samples were collected. The method or technique can also include identifying sampled instructions of the application that were executing when the samples were collected and other instructions of the application. The method or technique can also include evaluating the sampled instructions and one or more of the other instructions using the sampled register values to identify memory accesses by the application. The method or technique can also include outputting the identified memory accesses.

    Abstract: A multimode optical waveguide network comprises a parent waveguide and a plurality of child waveguides. Each waveguide is a multimode optical waveguide having a first surface region, multiple second surface regions, and at least one guiding element attached to a surface of the waveguide or embedded within the waveguide, each second surface region of the parent waveguide optically coupled to the first surface region of a corresponding child waveguide.     Abstract: A phase-interpolator (PI) circuit generates an interpolated clock to capture data in a capture circuit at a target phase in a phase range between two reference clocks based on an interpolation code within a range of interpolation codes is described. A clamping circuit coupled to the PI circuit provides an interpolation code within a reduced range, where the integral non-linearity (INL) of the interpolated clocks is below a threshold, such that data capture based on the interpolated clock has a lower bit error rate (BER). As a result, the interpolated clock is generated within a reduced phase range corresponding to the reduced range of interpolation codes. When a target phase for an interpolated clock is outside the reduced phase range, the clamping circuit may adjust the target phase clock relative to a reference clock to adjust the target phase to be within the reduced phase range for improved BER.
