Abstract: Activatable adhesive compositions are disclosed. The activatable adhesive compositions comprise a two-stage polymer particle, comprising a first stage comprising a hydrophilic acrylic polymer having an acid content of less than 200 mg KOH/g, a second stage polymerized within the first stage and comprising a hydrophobic acrylic polymer, and a tackifier soluble in the first stage and the second stage. Further, linerless labels and tapes comprising activatable adhesive compositions are disclosed. Still further, methods for adhering a first substrate to a second substrate using an activatable adhesive composition are also disclosed.

Abstract: A film structure including: (a) at least one functionalized film layer, wherein the at least one film layer comprises a polar-reactive group polyolefin layer used as an internal layer in the film structure; and (b) a lamination adhesive composition present on, and in contact with, a least a portion of a surface of the internal layer; wherein the green tack value of the adhesive composition is greater than 0.772 Newtons/centimeter; a laminate including the above film structure bonded to a substrate layer; a process for producing the film structure; a process for producing the laminate; and a laminated article made from the above laminate.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a two-component solvent-less adhesive composition. The two-component solvent-less adhesive composition contains the reaction product of (A) an isocyanate component containing the reaction product of (i) an isocyanate monomer and (ii) a first dimer acid polyester polyol; and (B) a polyol component containing (i) a second dimer acid polyester polyol and (ii) optionally, a polyol selected from a polyether polyol, a polyester polyol, and combinations thereof. The two-component solvent-less adhesive composition contains from 15 wt % to 45 wt % units derived from dimer acid, based on the total weight of the two-component solvent-less adhesive composition.
