    Abstract: In a variable displacement compressor 100, transmitting member 116 transmits rotational motion of rotor 112 to swash plate 111 and supports swash plate 111. Guide member 117 guides inclining motion of swash plate 111 such that a top dead center position of piston 126 is maintained to be substantially constant. Members 116, 117 are separately formed at different portions on a rotor end face 112a. In the variable displacement compressor 100, first contacted member 118 contacted with transmitting member 116, and second contacted member 119 contacted with guide member 117, are separately formed at different portions on swash plate end face 111b. The transmitting member 116 and the first contacted member 118 extend on rotor 112 and swash plate 111, respectively, from a top dead center side region V1 to a bottom dead center side region V2 of the piston.

    Abstract: Provided is an interlock device for a high voltage apparatus which enables not only the diagnosis of the connected or non-connected state of a connector during normal operation of the interlock device, but also the detection of a failure of the interlock device itself, including a failure of the interlock loop. The device includes an interlock loop 16 annexed to an HV connector 7 for connecting an electric compressor to an HV battery 8, a detecting signal output unit, a first switching element, a controlling voltage switching circuit operable, in a closed state of the interlock loop, to switch a voltage applied to a control electrode of the first switching element according to an output of the detecting signal output unit, a second switching element operable, in an open state of the interlock loop, to apply to the control electrode of the first switching element an output of the controlling voltage switching circuit so as to cause an ON/OFF state of the first switching element to be inverted from when the interlock loop is in the closed state, and a failure diagnosis unit.

    Abstract: The scroll-type compressor comprises a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll engaged with each other; a back pressure control valve 50 inserted from the large-diameter side of the stepped-shaped pressure release passage L4 which communicates between a suction chamber H1 and a back pressure chamber H3 which applies a back pressure for pressing the orbiting scroll against the fixed scroll. The scroll-type compressor further comprises an O-ring 60 fitted in a circumferential groove 53a formed in the outer peripheral surface of the valve 50, and a ring member 61 press-fitted into the large-diameter side of the pressure release passage L4, and holds the valve 50 between the ring member 61 and the stepped portion. Then, the compressive stress is unlikely to be applied to the valve 50, and the deformation of the valve 50 is reduced to prevent the reduction in the control accuracy of the back pressure.

    Abstract: In a motor control device, a voltage phase detecting unit sets a voltage phase of applied voltage to be applied to a motor based on a deviation between a target d-axis current set by a target d-axis current setting unit and an actual d-axis current detected by a rotor position detecting unit and an actual rotational speed detected by a rotational speed detecting unit. Here, a correction amount calculating unit determines whether or not a rotor has rotated by one period of mechanical angle based on the rotor position detected by the rotor position detecting unit and calculates an average value of deviations between target d-axis current and actual d-axis current in each period of mechanical angle as a correction amount, and a second addition/subtraction unit corrects a target d-axis current by a correction amount.

    Abstract: An abnormality detecting device for a current sensor detecting whether a single current sensor provided in an inverter which supplies electric power to a motor driving a compressor is abnormal detects phase currents of the motor based on an output signal of the current sensor, estimates an estimated phase current value of the phase currents of the motor based on at least one of a discharge pressure and a suction pressure of the compressor and a rotational speed of the motor, compares detected values of the phase currents with an estimated phase current value of the phase currents, and then detects whether the current sensor is abnormal based on the comparison result.

    Abstract: Corrosion due to salt water, or the like, is prevented or suppressed between fastening end portions of housing members, while minimizing increase in production cost with respect to corrosion. A housing 10 of a compressor 1 has a front housing 11, a center housing 12, and a rear housing 13. The front housing 11 and the center housing 12 are fastened to each other by a plurality of fastening members 31, and mutual fastening end portions (111 and 121) thereof are welded together. The center housing 12 and the rear housing 13 are fastened to each other by a plurality of fastening members 32, and mutual fastening end portions (122 and 131) thereof are welded together. A weld bead W1 is formed between the fastening end portion 111 and the fastening end portion 121, and a weld bead W2 is formed between the fastening end portion 122 and the fastening end portion 131.

    Abstract: The scroll-type compressor comprises a fixed scroll 320 and an orbiting scroll which are engaged with each other, a front housing 220 for accommodating the fixed scroll 320 and the orbiting scroll, and a rear housing 240 joined to the open end of the front housing 220. The fixed scroll 320 has the base plate 322 fitted into the front housing 220, and the flange 326 held at a joint surface between the front housing 220 and the rear housing 240. Additionally, at least one of the flange 326 of the fixed scroll 320 and the front housing 220 forms therein a recessed portion 326A or 220E which permits the fixed scroll 320 to be displaced in an axial direction toward the orbiting scroll due to a pressure difference acting on opposite surfaces of the base plate 322 of the fixed scroll 320.
