Abstract: To provide a hydrogen filling system and a hydrogen filling method capable of preventing hydrogen from being filled at high filling rate in the same manner as the communication filling despite a condition that pressure, temperature and so on in the in-vehicle tank are not precisely grasped. The hydrogen filling system (100) of the present invention includes a control unit (CU1, CU2, CU3) for controlling hydrogen filling, wherein the control unit has a function of judging whether or not there is an abnormality in pressure or temperature data in an in-vehicle tank (IT) at communication filling and a function of stopping the communication filling and converting to non-communication filling when there is an abnormality in the pressure or the temperature data.

Abstract: To provide a pipe joint that can immediately shut off a hydrogen gas flow path at an initial stage when a plug (nozzle side member) comes out of a socket (filling apparatus side member) to prevent release of outgas. A pipe joint (100) of the present invention includes: a cylindrical nozzle side member (10) with a shutoff valve (5), in the cylindrical nozzle side member (10) being formed a passage (1A); and a cylindrical filling apparatus side member (20) with a shutoff valve (24), in the cylindrical filling apparatus side member (20) being formed a passage (21A), wherein when the nozzle side member (10) and the filling apparatus side member (20) are connected with each other, central axes of the passages (1A, 21A) of the nozzle side member (10) and the filling apparatus side member (20) do not form a same straight line, and the central axes of the passages (1A, 21A) are offset without intersecting, and the shutoff valves (5, 24) of the both members (10, 20) open to communicate the passages (1A, 21A) of the both members (10, 20) with each other, and when the nozzle side member (10) is separated from the filling apparatus side member (20), the shutoff valves (5, 24) of the both members (10, 20) close.

Abstract: A gas filling apparatus having a filling nozzle with high operability. A gas filling apparatus 1, comprising; a filling mechanism for transporting a gas from a gas supply source via a gas transporting pipe while measuring flow rate of the gas; a filling hose 3 connected to the gas transporting pipe, the filling hose having a filling nozzle 4 at an end; a nozzle hook 5 on which the filling nozzle is hung; and a guide mechanism 7 for guiding the filling nozzle from the nozzle hook to a predetermined position when the filling nozzle is detached from the nozzle hook. The guide mechanism can guide the filling nozzle to a filling port of a fuel tank mounted on a vehicle, which allows the filling nozzle to move to the filling port of the fuel tank with ease even though the filling nozzle is heavy or a high pressure gas such as hydrogen gas is handled. The nozzle hook can include an injection port 5d for injecting a dry gas to the filling nozzle hung on the nozzle hook.
