Abstract:
An oxide superconductor comprises a composition represented by the composition formula: (Nd.sub.x --Ce.sub.y --L.sub.z).sub.2 CuO.sub.4-d (wherein L is an element selected from Ca and Mg, and x+y+z=1). The compositions of Nd, Ce and L of the oxide superconductor corresponds to a point falling inside an area of Nd--Ce--L ternary diagram surrounded by straight lines (A-B), (B-C), (C-D) and (D-A) connecting point (A) with point (B), point (B) with point (C), point (C) with point (D) and point (D) with point (A), respectively, the points (A), (B), (C) and (D) being points (x=1, y=0, z=0), (x=0.4, y=0.6, z=0), (x=0.4, y=0.3, z=0.3) and (x=0.1, y=0, z=0.9), respectively, in the Nd--Ce--L ternary diagram. Above-described Nd--Ce--L--Cu--O oxides can exhibit superconductivity within a wide range of composition when heat-treated in an atmosphere of nitrogen.
Abstract:
A gas circuit breaker includes contact rings formed of an elastically deformable material, a movable contact that moves reciprocally along an axis line direction between a current supply position where the movable contact bridges the contact rings and a current cutoff position where the movable contact is separated from both the contact rings, holding tools formed in an annular shape and respectively attached to the contact rings, a covering member having electrically insulating property, slidably attached to a distal end portion of the holding tool in the axis line direction, and configured to be brought into contact with the contact ring, and a covering member having electrically insulating property, slidably attached to a distal end portion of the holding tool in the axis line direction, and configured to be brought into contact with the contact ring.
Abstract:
A wiring board includes: a substrate; first connection electrode portions which are disposed on a surface of the substrate and which are to be connected to individual-electrode connection terminals of an actuator via first bumps; first wires having electrical continuity with the first connection electrode portions; a second connecting electrode portion which is disposed on the surface of the substrate and which is to be connected to the a common-electrode connection terminal of the actuator via a second bump; and a second wire having electrical continuity with the second connection electrode portion. The second connecting electrode portion is located in an edge portion of the substrate. The second wire has a conducive-material absent portion that is located between an edge of the substrate and the second connecting electrode portion.
Abstract:
Each outermost part of fixed-side connection conductors, fixed-side fixed contacts, movable-side fixed contacts, and movable-side connection conductors are placed outside of an outermost diameter of a fixed-side conductor and a movable-side conductor, as viewed from an axis line of the fixed-side conductor and the movable-side conductor as a center. This arrangement provides a power switchgear that can diminish mutual effects of currents among conduction parts to suppress decrease in a current-carrying capacity for each of the conduction parts and to increase a current-carrying capacity for a total of the conduction parts, without increasing the size of the switchgear.
Abstract:
When electric discharging occurs inside a gas insulated apparatus in which sulfur hexafluoride is filled, hydrogen-fluoride gas is generated, which abrades a part formed of glass fiber reinforced plastics included in the apparatus. Previously, resin for preventing the abrasion has been coated on the surface of the part; however, a problem has occurred that the coating film peels off. Organic fiber woven cloth woven using organic fiber such as aramid fiber or the like having hydrogen fluoride resistance and mechanical toughness is wrapped around the surface of glass fiber reinforced plastics, and thermosetting resin is wettably impregnated into weave patterns of the organic fiber woven cloth and then heat cured; thereby, an abrasion-preventing protection layer that does not peel off is formed.
Abstract:
A bump is disposed on a surface of an actuator unit and communicated with a corresponding electrode of the actuator unit, and a part of the bump is extended through an insulating covering material to be electrically connected to a corresponding terminal of a wiring board. When a point which is positioned on an outer circumferential surface of a base end portion of the bump, and is closest to a drive part is assumed to be a closest point, and a point which is positioned on the outer circumferential surface of the base end portion of the bump, and is most distant from the drive part is assumed to be a most distant point, a close region including the closest point is processed such that the uncured insulating covering material is less likely to flow in the close region than in a distant region including the most distant point.
Abstract:
An FPC connected to a piezoelectric actuator has a board and two driver ICs mounted on the board. The board is provided with two wires for transmitting two kinds of mode selection signals respectively corresponding to two kinds of driving modes and with a selection pad selecting one from the two kinds of mode selection signals transmitted through the two wires and then outputting the selected signal to each driver IC.
Abstract:
A control circuit of a printer makes a signal selecting circuit select a connection signal of a checking circuit, and then make output, to one driver IC which detects a connection state with the control circuit. The control circuit outputs a selection signal which makes the signal selecting circuit select a temperature detection signal of a temperature sensor, and then make output, to the remaining driver ICs.
Abstract:
A recording apparatus includes a recording head which has a plurality of recording elements, a drive unit, a selection-data generating mechanism which generates data for selecting a certain operation mode of the recording elements, a data transmitting mechanism which outputs a predetermined particular bit patterns at a tail end of the selection data, and a control-signal generating mechanism which generates a control signal for controlling the drive unit. The data transmitting mechanism inserts dummy data between the selection data.
