    Abstract: An apparatus to measure isometric muscle strength has a table section having a top surface adapted to allow a person to sit thereon. An upright frame section is movably attached to the table section and spans the top surface and includes an open area sized to allow the person's legs and thighs to extend therethrough when the person is seated on the top surface. A cradle is attached to the frame section and holds a force-measuring device that is acted upon by the person's body segment when the person is seated on the top surface. Movement-impeding devices allow or prevent movement of the frame section. Belts and/or straps are attached to the table section and adapted to be secured to various parts of the person's body to stabilize the person on the top surface and to isolate muscle groups that are to be tested for isometric muscle strength.

    Abstract: One example is an inverter assembly for converting direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC). A DC connector on the inverter assembly is connected to an upper DC bus. A silicon carbide (SiC) heat sink is mounted above the upper DC bus and at least one capacitor is mounted above the SiC heat sink. A lower DC bus is connected to the upper DC bus and a liquid cooled cold-plate cooling unit is positioned between the upper and lower DC busses. SiC half-bridge units are located between the upper DC bus and the cold-plate and between the lower DC bus and the cold-plate. A gate driver unit is located on the upper DC bus above one converter heatsink and another driver located on the lower DC bus below the other converter heatsink. An AC output connector connects the converters to the AC output connecter.

    Abstract: A modular shelter system includes a floor panel having a first curved surface along a lateral edge on a top side of the floor panel and a first inside surface located inside of the first curved surface. The modular shelter system additionally includes a wall panel having a second curved surface along a bottom end of the wall panel, wherein the second curved surface is configured to rotate relative to the first curved surface, and wherein the second curved surface is configured to mate with the first curved surface. The wall panel further has a second inside surface located inside of the second curved surface, wherein the second inside surface is configured to mate with the first inside surface when the wall panel is erected over the floor panel.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for the simultaneous testing of radiation, environmental and electrical reliability of multiple semiconductor devices. The system provides a simultaneous simulation of the space environment in which a device under test (DUT) is expected to operate under thereby providing an accurate test environment. One or more DUTs are simultaneously subject to each of a radiating dose, electrical bias and varying temperature. Additionally, each of the above may be varied over a range of values to provide test data under multiple testing conditions. Finally, a method for operating the system is provided which ensures reliable and high fidelity data from the system. The system comprises seven (7) interconnected subsystems, an electrical environmental subsystem, a radiation subsystem, an environmental control system, a radiation source control system, a temperature monitoring subsystem, an electrical stimulation and data acquisition subsystem and a data processing and analysis subsystem.
