    Abstract: A battery system has positive and negative pack terminals, and positive and negative sense terminals. An electrochemical cell assembly has positive and negative cell terminals. An electrically conductive power path has a positive leg that connects the positive cell terminal to the positive pack terminal, and a negative leg that connects the negative cell terminal to the negative pack terminal. A power switch circuit is connected in the power path. An electrically conductive sense path separate from the power path has a positive leg that connects the positive cell terminal to the positive sense terminal, and a negative leg that connects to the negative sense terminal. A sense switch circuit is connected in the sense path. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

    Abstract: Disclosed are structures, devices, methods and systems for providing dynamically variable internal illumination to individual input devices of an electronic device, such as keys of a keyboard. In some embodiments, input devices contain multiple LEDs whose light intensity may be varied to alter a tone or a color of light used for the internal illumination a key. The LEDs may be micro LEDs and may be internal components of the input device as a unit. In some embodiments, the LEDs are white light LEDs having different phosphor thicknesses. In some embodiments the LEDs may be RGB LEDs, with individual control of color contributions to modify the internal illumination. Systems incorporating such input devices may need only a reduced set of LED control units. Systems can include a processing unit and a light sensor or camera to detect ambient lighting and adjust internal illumination of an input device accordingly.

    Abstract: A wireless power transmission system may include a wireless power transmitting device such as a tablet computer and a wireless power receiving device such as a computer stylus.     Abstract: An electronic device may be provided with wireless circuitry that includes a radio-frequency transceiver circuit and an antenna. The antenna may be a patch antenna formed from a patch antenna resonating element and an antenna ground. The antenna ground may be formed from a metal housing having a planar rear wall that lies in a plane parallel to the metal patch.
