The present disclosure relate to a display module, comprising: a flexible panel, wherein bumps are formed along two opposing sides of the flexible panel respectively, and a size of the bumps in a thickness direction of the flexible panel is larger than a thickness of the flexible panel; two curled slide rails arranged opposite to and in parallel with each other, wherein each slide rail has a groove for receiving the bump that extends along a curling direction of the slide rail, and for each groove, a groove entry for entering the groove is formed at one end of a respective slide rail; the slide rails and a space therebetween form a receiving rail for receiving the flexible panel; each of the bumps is able to enter a respective groove of the slide rail through the groove entry of the groove and move along the groove where the bump resides.

The foldable display apparatus includes a foldable display panel including a bendable portion in the display area; a first chamber and a second chamber in the display area and connected with each other, an orthographic projection of the first chamber on the foldable display panel at least partially covers the bondable portion; and a variable stiffness material in at least the first chamber thereby providing support for the bendable portion of the foldable display panel in an unfolded configuration, and being at least partially transferred to the second chamber thereby reducing stress in the bondable portion in the foldable display panel in a folded configuration.

The display module includes a display area, a bonding area, a bending area, a support structure, and first and second back film layers; the bending area has a bending start position and a bending end position; the first back film layer has a first end adjacent to the bending area, the second back film layer has a fourth end adjacent to the bending area, there is a gap between the first end and the bending start position, and between the fourth end and the bending end position; a light-emitting side of the display area is provided with a polarizer, and the polarizer has a second end which is flush with the bending start position; and a third end of a limiting support layer is flush with the bending end position.
