A plasma display module which protects an integrated circuit chip by preventing a cover plate from being inclined during an assembling process of the cover plate. The plasma display module includes, a PDP (plasma display panel) realizing an image, a driving device driving the PDP, a chassis supporting the PDP and the driving device, a signal transmission unit electrically connecting the PDP and the driving device and having an integrated circuit chip, and a cover plate installed to face the integrated circuit chip, wherein at least one guide boss that prevents the cover plate from being inclined with respect to the integrated circuit chip is formed on the chassis, and at least one guide hole in which the guide boss is inserted is formed in the cover plate.

The mounting structure is constructed with a reinforcing member installed on a chassis base of the display module, a boss including a threaded length having an outer portion on which a screw surface is formed and being coupled to the reinforcing member, and a connecting portion extending from the threaded length in a direction away from the reinforcing member and having an end portion in which a coupling hole is formed, and a supporting nut screwed into the threaded length to press the boss toward the reinforcing member.

A plasma display module is disclosed. In one embodiment, the display module includes: i) a chassis base, ii) a plasma display panel on which an image is displayed, in front of the chassis base and supported by the chassis base, iii) a plurality of circuit substrates that drive the plasma display panel, on the rear of the chassis base and supported by the chassis base and iv) a pad attaching structure that brings a thermal conductive medium into close contact with at least a region of the circuit substrate and is located between the chassis base and the circuit substrate, and forms an air circulating path between the pad attaching structure and the chassis base. The plasma display module accelerates the dissipation of heat from the circuit devices and is cheap to manufacture.

A display device is provided having enhanced precision and accuracy in attachment of a plasma display panel to a chassis base. A method and apparatus for manufacturing such a display device is also provided. The display device may include a display panel having an upper panel and a lower panel and a chassis base for supporting the display panel. At least one panel of upper and lower panels in a plasma display panel is marked with an aligning mark, and a penetration hole is formed at a chassis base at a position corresponding to the aligning mark. Therefore, the chassis base and the plasma display panel may be precisely aligned on the basis of the aligning mark exposed through the penetration hole.

A display module, used for, e.g., a plasma display panel, is disclosed. In one embodiment, the display module includes a display panel, a drive circuit board driving the display panel, and a chassis base supporting the display panel and the drive circuit board. A curved portion is formed on the chassis base with a predetermined width, a boss is installed on an upper surface of the curved portion, and the drive circuit board is installed on the top of the boss. According to embodiments of the present invention, the strength of the chassis base constituting the display module is reinforced, without requiring a separate reinforcement member, and simultaneously the heat and noise generated by the display panel and the drive circuit board during operation can be appropriately dissipated and prevented.

A plasma display apparatus is disclosed. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes i) a plasma display panel displaying images, ii) a chassis base disposed on a rear portion of the plasma display panel, iii) a circuit unit disposed on a rear portion of the chassis base to drive the plasma display panel, and iv) at least one reinforcing member coupled to a rear surface of the chassis base. In addition, one of the chassis base and the reinforcing member includes two or more aligning recesses that are separated from each other, and the other includes aligning protrusions to be inserted into the aligning recesses. According to one embodiment of the invention, the reinforcing members can be located exactly and coupled rapidly to the chassis base.

A plasma display module with reduced driving noise and improved a heat dissipating performance. The plasma display module includes a chassis base, a plasma display panel arranged at a front portion of the chassis base, the plasma display panel being adapted to display images, a heat dissipation sheet arranged between the plasma display panel and the chassis base, the heat dissipation sheet including a plurality of pores, wherein a porosity of the heat dissipation sheet varies with distance from the plasma display panel, and a circuit unit arranged at a back portion of the chassis base to drive the plasma display. The heat dissipation sheet may be made out of three separate sheet materials, each sheet having a different porosity.
