    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may configure a mapping between a set of power states and a set of codepoints. The network entity may indicate the mapping to a user equipment (UE) via control signaling, such as a first control message. Each power state may correspond to a respective directional communication profile associated with the network entity, the UE, or both. The network entity may transmit a second control message to the UE to indicate a codepoint from the set of codepoints. The UE device may transition to a power state that corresponds to the codepoint (e.g., based on the mapping) in accordance with the second control message. In some examples, the network entity may indicate the codepoint in a field of the second control message associated with a search space set group (SSSG) switching indication.

A device may aggregate multiple data bits into a group of data bits associated with an application on the device. The device may determine quality of service parameters associated with the group of data bits. The quality of service parameters may include an error rate associated with the group of data bits, a delay budget associated with the group of data bits, timing information associated with the group of data bits, or content policy information associated with the group of data bits, or a combination thereof. The device may transmit the group of data bits to another device in the wireless communication system. The group of data bits may include group header information including an indication of the quality of service parameters.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Devices of a wireless communications system may be configured to group data packets as a batch or file. In some cases, resources may be determined based on one or more resource grants corresponding to file communication. Other aspects may include DCI configurations corresponding to file communication, resource grants may be configured to assign resources for communication of a file. For example, a DCI may be specifically configured for granting resources for communication of a file. In another example, configured grants may include a configured grant index corresponding to communication of a file. Other aspects may include configuration of a UE for responding to a preemption indication when a file is scheduled for communication, power adjustments for communication of a file, reference signal configurations for communication of a file, and/or coherent detection/transmission across two or more packets of a file.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine two or more colliding uplink transmissions, wherein the two or more colliding uplink transmissions include first traffic and second traffic. The UE may select, from the two or more colliding uplink transmissions, one of the first traffic or the second traffic based at least in part on a first stage priority handling and a second stage priority handling, wherein the first traffic or the second traffic is selected based at least in part on one of three possible priority levels assigned to each of the two or more colliding uplink transmissions. The UE may transmit, to a network node, the one of the first traffic or the second traffic that is selected. Numerous other aspects are described.
