    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. To save energy at the network, synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) may be transmitted in an on-demand manner. For example, the network may transmit an SSB in response to a request for an SSB or an uplink wake-up signal (WUS) from a user equipment (UE). SSBs may be mapped to corresponding random access channel occasions (ROs) via control signaling such as radio resource control or system information. For example, the described techniques provide for rules and/or signaling that may indicate whether a network entity should monitor for, and thus whether a UE may transmit, in ROs corresponding to on-demand SSBs. In some examples, a UE may transmit a request for an on-demand SSB, receive an SSB based on the request, and selectively transmit a message to the network entity in an RO corresponding to the SSB based on reception of the SSB.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For example, the described techniques enable user equipment (UEs) to perform feedback reporting. A first UE may communicate an indication that it is in a UE group associated with uplink feedback resource sharing among UEs in the UE group. The first UE may then receive one or more messages indicating sets of uplink feedback resources associated with the first UE and one or more other UEs in the UE group, the uplink feedback resources being configured for uplink feedback resources sharing. The UEs within the UE group may support shared feedback resources so that a UE may access and utilize any quantity of feedback resources associated with any UE that belongs to the same cooperative group. The first UE may select a resource from the sets of uplink feedback resources and may communicate uplink feedback based on the selection.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for full duplex (FD) operation under cell discontinuous transmission (DTX) and discontinuous reception (DRX). An example method, performed at a user equipment (UE), includes receiving configuration information indicating, for a network entity operating in a subband full duplex (SBFD) mode, DRX cycles and DTX cycles, wherein each DRX cycle has an inactive DRX period and an active DRX period and each DTX cycle has an inactive DTX period and an active DTX period, determining that an SBFD slot occurs during an overlap of 1) an active DRX period and an inactive DTX period or 2) an inactive DRX period and an active DTX period, and performing one or more actions during the SBFD slot, based on the determination and whether the UE is configured to communicate on an uplink subband or a downlink subband in the SBFD slot.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein provide for linking downlink control information candidates across multiple transmission and reception points (TRPs) with cell discontinuous transmission (DTX) operations. A user equipment (UE) may determine a linkage status of linked downlink control information candidates across multiple TRPs with DTX operations. The UE may determine the linkage status based on a DTX status of the first TRP or a DTX status of the second TRP. When the DTX status of the first TRP or the second TRP is activated, the UE may determine the linkage status is a broken linkage. The UE may determine the linkage status as the broken linkage if one of the downlink control information candidates is within an inactive duration of a DTX cycle. The UE may determine the linkage status as the maintained linkage or broken linkage based on DCI format.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may configure a mapping between a set of power states and a set of codepoints. The network entity may indicate the mapping to a user equipment (UE) via control signaling, such as a first control message. Each power state may correspond to a respective directional communication profile associated with the network entity, the UE, or both. The network entity may transmit a second control message to the UE to indicate a codepoint from the set of codepoints. The UE device may transition to a power state that corresponds to the codepoint (e.g., based on the mapping) in accordance with the second control message. In some examples, the network entity may indicate the codepoint in a field of the second control message associated with a search space set group (SSSG) switching indication.

    Abstract: The apparatus may be configured to receive a first indication of a CFR associated with at least one of an MCCH or an MTCH for a plurality of RedCap UEs in one of an inactive or idle state supporting a first capability having a first maximum bandwidth that is different from a second capability having a second maximum bandwidth that is greater than the first maximum bandwidth. The apparatus may also be configured to monitor the CFR indicated in the first indication for at least one of broadcast traffic or multicast traffic. The apparatus may be configured to output, for transmission to the plurality of RedCap UEs, the first indication and output, for transmission to the plurality of RedCap UEs, at least one of an MCCH communication or an MTCH communication via the CFR indicated in the first indication for at least one of broadcast traffic or multicast traffic.
