Abstract:
Tool grips and handles may be enhanced by the addition of modular inserts which compensate for two voids in the human hand. A first insert may fill a void in the palm of the hand while a second may fill one by the fingers. By filling the voids, a more natural, relaxed and customizable grip may be achieved for almost any handle. Use of a plurality of inserts allows for customization according to hand size while the size of the inserts also accounts for size and also the dimensions of the handle.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus for the application of protective films to electronic devices and a method for applying the same. The apparatus utilizes a base shoe and modular framing system that is adaptable for many devices and, when fitted with a device and installed in the shoe, precisely holds the device in a known location relative the shoe. Films are supplied on an application sheet and precisely positioned thereon in a manner such that the application sheet, when positioned on the shoe, holds the film in the exact location needed for quick and precise application of the film. The application sheet is pressed downwards against the device, successively from one edge to another, thereby the film to the device. The shoe features a raised head on a flexible arm, thus raising the film above the level of the device before application and allowing the sheet to be pressed into position.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a platform for a whole body vibrational apparatus. The platform is powered by a centrally located iso-linear drive system incorporating elastomeric bushings that support the cover of the platform and impart the oscillatory motion from the motor to said cover. The use of the bushings reduces noise and cushions the jarring usually associated with oscillatory motion. The cover is curved in a manner to accommodate the iso-linear drive system and present a lower mounting height to aid in mounting and dismounting the platform. A modular column may also be added to control the vibrator platform but is also isolated from the platform at its connection. Additional control modules, such as a ski module, may be added to further enhance the utility of the platform.
Abstract:
The present invention is a dock for electrical cords and cables. It comprises a truncated cylinder made of an elastomeric material, having an elliptical base and a circular face. A slit is formed in the longer side of the dock and an axial bore is present, allowing the dock to flex and accommodate various cords. Ideally, the slit is wider at the base, forming a passage, and the circular face is concave, allowing for larger numbers and sizes of cords and cord heads to be contained.
Abstract:
The present invention is an improved cable/cord storage device. The cable management device includes first and second expanded regions, a medial region, and at least one channel with a resealable slit. The first and second expanded regions are respectively wider than the medial region. The at least one channel includes an opening on the first region, an opening on the medial region, and an internal cavity therebetween. The internal cavity may be intentionally exposed via a resealable slit to allow a cable to be routed through the internal cavity between the openings. Upon release, slit automatically reseals, thereby reliably supporting the cable. A second embodiment includes two such channels, one in each expanded region. An improved embodiment features transition zones at the origin and terminus of each channel, a rounded edge to each slit, and transitioning curvature of the medial region.

The present invention relates to an improved cable storage device. Stored cables may be of any type, form electrically conductive wires to curtain drawstrings. The cable management device includes first and second expanded regions, a medial region, and at least one channel with a resealable slit. The first and second expanded regions are respectively wider than the medial region. The at least one channel includes an opening on the first region, an opening on the medial region, and an internal cavity therebetween. The internal cavity may be intentionally exposed via a resealable slit to allow a cable to be routed between the openings. Upon release, slit automatically reseals, thereby reliably supporting the cable in the internal cavity. A second embodiment includes two such channels, one in each expanded region.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for coupling a vertically oriented electrical device to a wall utilizing an existing electrical recess for support and power. The system electrically couples the device to an existing power system while providing a mechanical coupling for support. In addition, the system provides for vertical adjustments while maintaining the electrical and mechanical coupling. The system generally includes a recess coupling module, a vertical support receptacle, an electrical power system, and at least one electrical device. The vertical support receptacle is coupled to the recess coupling module in a substantially perpendicular manner. The electrical power system is electrically coupled to the electrical system disposed in the existing power recess and distributed across the vertical support receptacle. The at least one electrical device is adjustably coupled to the vertical support receptacle such that it is both mechanically supported and electrically powered.

In addition, the system provides for vertical adjustments while maintaining the electrical and mechanical coupling. The system generally includes a recess coupling module, a vertical support receptacle, an electrical power system, and at least one electrical device. The recess coupling module mechanically interfaces with an existing electrical receptacle in a manner to mechanically support or anchor the remainder of the system.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to systems and methods for monitoring and tracking attributes of personal health. One embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for measuring and recording at least two independent health values so as to produce multivariable diagnostic information that can accurately identify medical conditions. The method requires measuring at least two health related values which are recorded onto some form of computer readable media and then correlated concurrently to known medical conditions. These conditions are then communicated to the user An alternative embodiment relates to a system for performing multivariable health related diagnostics using at least two health related measurement devices, a computation processor, and an output device. The devices may be external devices configured to communicate with the remainder of the system. The output device may include a display screen to communicate visually and/or a speaker to communicate verbally.
