    Abstract: A display device having both a touch detection function and a function of capturing an image of a shape of a fingerprint or a vein is provided. The display device includes a first light-emitting element, a second light-emitting element, a light-receiving element, and a light-blocking layer. The first light-emitting element and the light-receiving element are arranged on the same plane. The light-blocking layer is provided above the first light-emitting element and the light-receiving element. The second light-emitting element is provided above the light-blocking layer. The first light-emitting element has a function of emitting visible light upward. The second light-emitting element has a function of emitting invisible light upward. The light-receiving element is a photoelectric conversion element having sensitivity to visible light and invisible light. In a plan view, the light-blocking layer includes a portion positioned between the first light-emitting element and the light-receiving element. In the plan view, the second light-emitting element overlaps with the light-blocking layer and is positioned inside the outline of the light-blocking layer.

    Abstract: A display device that has an image capturing function is provided. An image capturing device or a display device with high definition is provided. The display device includes first to fourth switches, a first transistor, a capacitor, and a light-emitting/receiving element. The first switch is connected to a gate of the first transistor. The second switch is connected to one of a source and a drain of the first transistor. An anode of the light-emitting/receiving element is connected to the other of the source and the drain of the first transistor through the third switch. The fourth switch is connected to the other of the source and the drain of the first transistor. One electrode of the capacitor is connected to the gate of the first transistor, and the other electrode of the capacitor is connected to the other of the source and the drain of the first transistor. The light-emitting/receiving element emits light of a first color, receives light of a second color, and converts the light into an electric signal.

    Abstract: A display device includes a liquid crystal element, a transistor, a scan line, and a signal line. The liquid crystal element includes a pixel electrode, a liquid crystal layer, and a common electrode. The scan line and the signal line are each electrically connected to the transistor. The scan line and the signal line each include a metal layer. The transistor is electrically connected to the pixel electrode. A semiconductor layer of the transistor includes a stack of a first metal oxide layer and a second metal oxide layer. The first metal oxide layer includes a region with lower crystallinity than the second metal oxide layer. The transistor includes a first region connected to the pixel electrode. The pixel electrode, the common electrode, and the first region are each configured to transmit visible light. Visible light passes through the first region and the liquid crystal element and exits from the display device.

    Abstract: A novel display panel that is highly convenient or reliable is provided. A pixel circuit includes a first switch, a node, a capacitor, and a second switch. The first switch includes a first terminal to which a first signal is supplied and a second terminal electrically connected to the node. The capacitor includes a first terminal electrically connected to the node and a second terminal electrically connected to the second switch. The second switch includes a first terminal to which a second signal is supplied and a second terminal electrically connected to the second terminal of the capacitor. In addition, the second switch has a function of changing from a non-conducting state to a conducting state when the first switch is in a non-conducting state and a function of changing from a conducting state to a non-conducting state when the first switch is in a non-conducting state.     Abstract: A display apparatus with low power consumption is provided. The display apparatus includes a circuit for boosting a signal voltage output from a gate driver. The signal voltage from the gate driver can be boosted and then supplied to a pixel, which is suitable for driving a display device with a high threshold voltage. Furthermore, by utilizing a boosting function, output of the gate driver can be reduced, and power consumption can also be reduced. By combination with a pixel having a boosting function of image data, a display apparatus with lower power consumption can be achieved.

The second pixel circuit is supplied with the second selection signal and the third selection signal in a period during which the first selection signal is not supplied, the second pixel circuit obtains an imaging signal on the basis of the second selection signal and supplies the imaging signal on the basis of the third selection signal, and the photoelectric conversion element is electrically connected to the second pixel circuit and generates the imaging signal.
