Abstract:
A generation unit is configured to generate a black color material data and the plurality of pieces of chromatic color material data, for a color positioned at a surface of a dark portion in a color gamut that can be reproduced using a black color material and the plurality of chromatic color materials, in such a way as to arrange dots of the black color material and respective dots of the plurality of chromatic color materials exclusively on a recording medium and set a rate of the arranged dots of the black color material to be greater as the color positioned at the surface is closer to black.

Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a stamper manufacturing method includes forming a conductive material concentration gradient layer including the projections pattern, and a composition ratio of a buffering agent to a conductive material in the conductive material concentration gradient layer reducing in a thickness direction from a master side.
Abstract:
A color gamut is extended, and thus high color and gradation are realized. An image recording system includes: a conversion unit for converting input color signals constituting an input image into signals constituting a group of recording material overlapped structures that includes a recording material overlapped structure in which at least two or more recording materials are overlapped to form pixels; and a recording unit for recording the recording materials on a recording medium in accordance with the converted signals.
Abstract:
The relationship between the applying amounts of colored inks and the thickness of the layer of a color material formed on a recording medium, and the relationship between the applying amount of uncolored ink and the thickness of the layer of the color material formed on the recording medium are acquired. Based on the relationships between the applying amounts and the thickness of the layer of the color material, the applying amounts of colored inks and the applying amount of uncolored ink are determined to substantially uniform the thickness of the layer of the color material when forming an image on a recording medium. A color separation table for color-separating image data is generated based on the applying amounts of colored inks and the applying amount of uncolored ink.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a method of manufacturing a stamper includes forming a first stamper from a master plate having lands and grooves through electroforming, forming a second stamper, a width of which is GW, from the first stamper through electroforming, forming a lamination film with a thickness of LLT on the second stamper, forming, on the lamination film, a second releasing layer, a transfer layer with a thickness of TLT and a third electroforming layer with a thickness of ELT, peeling off the transfer layer and the third electroforming layer from the second stamper to form a third stamper, and isotropically etching the transfer layer on the third stamper in an etching thickness of ET to reduce a width of lands of the third stamper, in which the following relations are satisfied: 10 nm≦ELT and ET≦TLT.
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing an imprint stamper includes the steps of forming a first electroformed layer on a concavo-convex pattern of an original disk with the pattern, peeling off the first electroformed layer to provide a first stamper, forming a second electroformed layer on a concavo-convex pattern of the first stamper, peeling off the second electroformed layer to provide a second stamper, forming a third electroformed layer on a concavo-convex pattern of the second stamper, and peeling off the third electroformed layer to provide a third stamper. In addition, a conductive film is formed at least on one of a bottom of the concave portion and a top surface of the convex portion of the concavo-convex pattern at least in one of the first stamper and the second stamper.
Abstract:
When an output image is observed, an image processing apparatus by which image observation can be performed always in a satisfactory state irrespective of its observation environment and a change of a human's visual characteristic is provided. In this image processing apparatus, a first output unit outputs the target image in a first gradation reproduction range, and a second output unit outputs the target image output by the first output unit in a second gradation reproduction range. At this time, a correction unit performs a correction process, i.e., gradation conversion process, to the target image output by the second output unit, on the basis of information concerning the environment for observing the output result of the target image by the second output unit.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus and information processing apparatus and method employs an output profile read-out unit that, according to a region designated by a preference selection unit, reads out one or more regional profiles from output profiles prepared for each such region. An output profile composing unit then combines the one or more output profiles based on a composition ratio input from the preference selection unit. The output profile is then input to a color matching processor for color matching.
Abstract:
Image data of a color patch is created using a printer profile according to a color conversion method and the image output apparatus 3 prints and outputs the color patch on a storage medium using the image data of this color patch. The color of each color patch recorded on the above-described storage medium is measured using the colorimeter 20, and the matching accuracy calculation section 8 calculates the accuracy (CRI) of color matching using the measurement data of the measurement result. The matching accuracy decision section 9 compares the CRI and a present threshold TH, decides the quality of the accuracy of color matching and notifies the decision result.
