In a document searching device that searches documents from a set of predetermined documents in response to an input search condition, a seed document acquiring unit is operable to acquire seed documents based on information that is different from the input search condition. A word extraction unit is operable to extract a set of words that are associated with the input search condition, from the seed documents acquired by the seed document acquiring unit. A search unit is operable to search documents from the set of predetermined documents based on the input search condition and the set of words extracted by the word extraction unit.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a conductive paste and a conductor and a ceramic substrate using the conductive paste which, when used as a conductive material for a ceramic substrate, can prevent cutting of the conductor in a through hole and peeling of the conductor from the through hole side wall during burning, thereby improving the yield and reliability of through hole conduction. The conductive paste contains Cu powder, Ni powder, glass frit and an organic vehicle, the amount of the Ni powder being about 1 to 20% by weight relative to the total amount of the Cu powder and the Ni powder, and the amount of the glass frit being about 1 to 40% by weight relative to the total amount of the Cu powder, the Ni powder and the glass frit.

An information recording and reproducing method and apparatus with increased recording density of an information recording medium using the sample servo method driven with a fixed angular velocity from the innermost circumference to the outmost circumference. A disk-shaped recording medium is concentrically divided into a plurality of areas. Recording is performed with a recording density suited for the radial position of each of the areas. The width of the areas is set so that the recording capacity of a user data section sandwiched between servo sections forming a segment may increase with every transition to an outer adjacent area while taking one byte as a unit. The recording and reproducing apparatus has a clock generating circuit for servo data extraction and a clock generating circuit for user data extraction. The latter clock generating circuit is synchronized by a synchronizing pulse generated by the former clock generating circuit.

There is provided a display control circuit including a central processing unit and display memory elements provided corresponding to respective data lines of the central processing unit. The display memory elements respectively have a plurality of data input terminals supplied with bit orders beforehand. As the display memory element, a large capacity readable/writable memory having a bit width per address such as 4 or 8 is used.Each bit per one address of said display memory element is assigned to an element belonging to each plane in the depth direction which constituted an individual picture element on the display screen. And one picture element is represented by one address of one display memory element. As a result, the number of display memory elements can be decreased.

There is provided a device for monitoring a thickness reduction of an inner surface in a heat transfer tube or an inner surface in an evaporation tube, the device including: a movement unit which moves along a fin tube; a laser measurement unit which is provided in the movement unit and measures the thickness reduction of the inner surface by a laser; a cable which includes a light guiding path for introducing a laser into the laser measurement unit and a light deriving path for transmitting reflected light; and a thickness reduction determining unit which compares the laser measurement data with past data or standard data and determines the current thickness reduction.

In a method for producing a multilayer ceramic substrate, a green ceramic laminate includes green conductive patterns arranged on a plurality of ceramic green sheets and portions to be formed into a plurality of multilayer ceramic substrates. Boundary-defining conductive patterns are arranged on the ceramic green sheets and along boundaries of the multilayer ceramic substrates. The boundary-defining conductive patterns have firing shrinkage characteristics that are different from those of the ceramic green sheets. During firing of the green ceramic laminate, cavities adjacent to edges of the boundary-defining conductive patterns are formed. A sintered ceramic laminate is divided at edges passing through the cavities.
