Abstract:
The delivery systems of the present disclosure are configurable to administer either single-dose or multiple-doses of one or more substances to a user, for example to the eye, nose, mouth, ear or rectum of the user. The precise and repeatable dosing features of the presently disclosed delivery systems overcome many of the disadvantages associated with known methods for dispensing substances to, for example, the eye of a user. The delivery systems administer precise doses of a substance to a precise location from unit dosage forms that may be single-dose or multiple-dose unit dosage forms, which may be externally or internally pierced.
Abstract:
Dispensing devices are described which can contain at least one substance(s) that can be squished, emptied, extruded, and/or poured out. The dispensing devices can comprise an enclosure, a circumferential edge portion, a dispensing port, and a squeezable portion.
Abstract:
A sprayer includes a flexible ball for receiving perfume or powder therein and an outer part is mounted to the flexible ball. A nozzle unit is engaged with the opening of the flexible ball and the top hole of the outer part. The nozzle unit includes a body which has a passage defined therethrough. A connector has a groove defined in the first end thereof which is inserted into the opening of the flexible ball and the inner periphery of the opening of the flexible ball is engaged with the groove. The second end of the connector extends beyond the opening of the flexible ball and is threadedly connected to the body. A mounting part is mounted to the body and the second end of the connector. The mounting part has a flange which presses the periphery of the top opening of the outer part against the connector.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dispensing container, comprising: —an elongate frame with a first end and a second and; and —an elongate reservoir extending between the first end and the second end of the frame; wherein the reservoir comprises: —a foldable wall which is connected at a first end thereof to the frame close to the first end of the frame for rotation around a longitudinal axis of the frame by means of an operating element, and which is connected non-rotatably to the frame at a second end thereof; and —a dispensing opening close to the first end of the frame.
Abstract:
The invention is directed to a two-part hair cosmetic for hair dyeing or bleaching which includes a first agent containing an alkaline agent and a second agent containing hydrogen peroxide and a squeeze container for discharging a mixed solution of the first agent and the second agent. The first agent or second agent contains a foaming agent. The mixed solution thereof has a viscosity (25° C.) of from 1 mPa·s to 100 mPa·s. The ratio between the total volume of the first and second agents and the inner volume of the container body is in the range of from 0.30 to 0.60.
Abstract:
The application relates to a packaging system for a hair coloring product containing: i) at least one container (102) holding a composition comprising at least one hair colorant, said composition forming or intended to form a hair coloring product; and ii) at least one test device (20) designed to perform a patch test and incorporating a tube (21) delimiting an internal space containing a dose of said composition, the tube incorporating an outlet aperture (29) and being arranged to cause said composition to be expelled from said outlet aperture (29) in response to excess pressure within the internal space of the tube or when the latter is vented via at least one passage separate from the outlet aperture (29).
Abstract:
A valve having a sleeve comprising a sleeve wall including an inner surface; and a plug positioned within the sleeve, the plug comprising at least one portion that is elastically deformable. The plug forms a blind hole extending into the plug from one end thereof to define a plug side wall, and a flow passage that extends through the plug side wall that is either open or openable. The plug defines a valve closed position in an unstressed state, yet is capable of elastically deforming to define a flow channel between the plug and the sleeve in a valve open position. A dispenser containing such a valve is also provided.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an airless dispenser which is used to dispense low doses of liquid products. The inventive dispenser is characterised in that it consists of: a first part comprising a spray nozzle which is communicated with a network of channels on the wall of an inner truncated-cone-shaped bore, and a second part comprising a deformable container which equipped with a rigid flange for fixing the first part in the aforementioned bore. The outer periphery of the flange comprises an inclined surface which defines a vortex chamber, opposite the above-mentioned network of channels, and which, together with the wall of the first part, forms an internal peripheral outlet groove. The outlet groove is defined radially by a flexible lip forming an inlet valve which is supported by the first or second part.
Abstract:
Dispenser for delivering portions of pasty substances has an emptying nozzle (18) associated with a squeeze head (13), and a tubular housing (1) in which a plunger (9) is displaced in a stepwise manner during a process of emptying the dispenser. Displacement of the plunger occurs in the direction toward the nozzle (18). The squeeze head can be pressed in, in the direction of the plunger (9), and can be actuated via a handle (H). A cover (21) closes an opening (20) of the nozzle (18). A pivot-pin connection (DV) is provided between the cover and the nozzle, and a slit/pivot pin mounting (23/22) is disposed between cover and the housing such that, once the cover has been displaced open partially, the pivot pin (22) is displaced in the pressing-in direction of the squeeze head (13), and the nozzle is carried along in the process, by way of support against a housing-side abutment (w).
Abstract:
A scent dispensing packet for delivering a sample of scent laden air. A scent emitting material contained inside the small envelope shaped packet, having been exposed to a specific fragrance or scent through absorption, will retain said scent and will impart it to the air inside the hollow packet surrounding the scent emitting material. Squeezing the packet forces the scent laden air inside the packet out through a small opening in the packet outer wall thereby delivering a scent or fragrance sample directly to the user. Releasing pressure on the outer walls causes the packet to expand back to its original shape drawing air back into the packet. The outer walls protect the scent emitting material inside from evaporation thus allowing the packet to be used as a fragrance or scent sampling device repeatedly over a much longer time frame than current scent sampling devices allow.
