Abstract: A dispensing closure for a powdered product that uniquely meters powdered product from a container is disclosed. The dispensing closure includes an upper deck having a dispensing aperture. An inner skirt depends from the upper deck. The inner skirt is adapted to secure to a neck of a container. A tube depends from the upper deck and is sized and dimensioned to reach near the bottom of a container. The tube has a side surface and closed end. A dispensing port is located on the side surface of the tube, near the dispensing aperture. The tube may optionally have an air intake port located on the side surface of the tube near the closed end.

Abstract: A device for use in a powder entraining squeeze container employs a first vertical hollow circular conduit having a first diameter, open at top and bottom ends and constituting a dip tube. A hollow spherical chamber having a second and much larger diameter and constituting an air powder mixing chamber is disposed above the dip tube, the top end of the dip tube being connected to the bottom of the chamber. A second vertical hollow conduit having a third diameter smaller than the first diameter is secured at its open bottom end to the top of the chamber and is used to discharge the mixture from its top open end. A third vertical hollow conduit in the chamber wall is open at top and bottom ends and is disposed alongside of a portion of the first conduit. The diameter of the third conduit is substantially equal to the third diameter. The open top of a vertical hollow cup closed at its bottom is spaced below the chamber. The cup has a cylinder extending upward from the bottom of the cup to receive the bottom end of the first conduit, this cylinder having a bore which communicates with the interior of the first conduit. The cup bottom has an opening communicating with the bore.

Abstract: A sprayer includes a flexible ball for receiving perfume or powder therein and an outer part is mounted to the flexible ball. A nozzle unit is engaged with the opening of the flexible ball and the top hole of the outer part. The nozzle unit includes a body which has a passage defined therethrough. A connector has a groove defined in the first end thereof which is inserted into the opening of the flexible ball and the inner periphery of the opening of the flexible ball is engaged with the groove. The second end of the connector extends beyond the opening of the flexible ball and is threadedly connected to the body. A mounting part is mounted to the body and the second end of the connector. The mounting part has a flange which presses the periphery of the top opening of the outer part against the connector.

Abstract: The dispenser has a circular mixing chamber (8) which is arranged immediately in front of a mixing nozzle (7). A first channel (15) leads to the mixing chamber (8) which is connected with a rising pipe which is immersed in the filled material of a squeezable container. Simultaneously, a second channel (9) leads into the mixing chamber which is connected to the air space above the filled material. A sieve arranged in the outlet channel (19) at a distance after the mixing nozzle which completely covers the outlet channel under the effect of the pressure of the filled material flowing out when the container (1) is squeezed. With release of the container, the sieve partially releases the outlet channel under the suction effect of the air return flow. With that, the container is rapidly ready for a renewed press sequence.

Abstract: A powder dispenser suitable for use as a first extinguisher and for dispensing particulated solids comprising a container having flexible side walls and formed with an annular neck portion on which a dispensing head is mounted having an orifice terminating in a discharge nozzle. A first conduit is connected at its upper end to the orifice of the dipensing head and extends downwardly within the container such that the lower inlet end thereof is disposed at a position spaced from the base of the container. A second conduit is positioned in encircling relationship around the first conduit in substantially concentric relationship forming an annulus having its upper end disposed in communication with the upper end of the interior of the container and its lower end terminating at a position axially spaced upwardly from the inlet end of the first conduit at a controlled distance corresponding to about one-eighth to about one-half the diameter of the first conduit such that upon deflection of the side walls of the container such as by squeezing, a fluidization of the powder adjacent to the inlet end of the first conduit is effected providing an optimum air to powder ratio which is discharged from the dispensing head in the form of a well defined substantially uniform dispersion.

Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for dispensing a restricted amount of powdered material, comprising a repository (2) for powdered material (4), an outlet (12), and a conduit (3).
