Abstract:
An improvement on a packing machine for packing whole fish in tins, especially brisling, young herring, sardines or the like. The machine has a chain- or belt-conveyor with holders for each individual fish and a feed device, carrying fish which have been given a uniform orientation in respective supply means positioned on both sides of the conveyor. The holders on the chain or belt conveyor are arranged such that they can be lowered flush with or below the transport plane of the conveyor, such that a plurality of fish lie freely movable at the end section of the packing machine. A transfer conveyor overlaps said first conveyor and moves at a lower linear velocity than said first conveyor. Means are arranged at the transfer conveyor for pushing the fish together.
Abstract:
By the apparatus of the invention paper bags containing potato chips, pastries or other goods are mechanically packed into outer containers in a manner preventing the crushing or breaking of the contents of the bags and ensuring that the bags are constantly maintained in a fixed array during their passage through the apparatus. The apparatus comprises a bag conveying path, a bag lifting means cooperating with said path and having the form of parallel rows of outwardly projecting pegs moving along endless paths and adapted to receive therebetween groups of bags in a predetermined array, a horizontally and vertically movable carriage the rear portion of which lifts a group of bags from the bag lifting means onto a bag receiving platform and the front portion of which moves the group of bags along said platform, a vertically movable holder for said group of bags arranged above the platform, a means for further advancing the group of bags along the platform, and a means for transporting the group of bags onto a blank from which the outer container is subsequently formed.
Abstract:
A system for automatic delivery of an order in bags to a pick-up location outside a building. Such a system includes: a device for signalling and/or detecting presence of a customer in the vicinity of the pick-up location; and a height-mounted transport module, which includes: a plurality of elements for suspending the bags from a track; an automatic displacement device for automatically moving the suspension elements on said track; and an actuator for actuating said automatic displacement device to displace the bags in which the various parts of said order have been deposited, to said pick-up location when said signalling and/or detection device emits a signal confirming the presence of said user in the vicinity of said pick-up location.
Abstract:
A modular transfer system with a primary flow system and a diverter system. The primary flow system includes a primary flow belt for conveying an article along a primary flow path from an infeed side of the modular transfer system to a pass-through side of the modular transfer system. The diverter system includes one or more diverter belts for diverting an article from the primary flow path towards a divert side of the modular transfer system. The primary flow belt includes multiple movable components contacting the diverter belt. The movable components can have one or more rotational degrees of freedom.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a supply device for the supply of filled sacks to a palletizing device, comprising a main supply belt for the supply of a first row of filled sacks on a sliding area of the palletizing device, wherein beneath the main supply belt at least one secondary feed belt is assembled for the supply of another row of filled sacks on the sliding area beneath a first row of filled sacks.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a transport device (10.1), in particular in the form of a suspension conveyor, said device comprising one or more trolleys (11) which are movably mounted on a trolley track (15) in a trolley track direction and on each of which a device (18, 19) hanging downwards for receiving transported goods is arranged. To achieve a simple construction and operation, the device (18, 19) for receiving transported goods forms at least one flexible material web (18) that is planar when open and that can be fastened at both ends (19) to the trolley (11), forming a carrying loop hanging downwards.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for maintaining a pattern of non-rigid objects in a desired position and orientation. The first surface, second surface, and third surface are mutually orthogonal and meet at a point to form a lowest corner. The second and third surfaces are supported by, attached to and extend at least somewhat vertically from the apparatus. The first surface is oriented at an angle to a plane running through a bottom of the apparatus and thereby provides the lowest corner.
Abstract:
An apparatus for supplying spout attachment bags including a first transfer device for transferring a spout attachment bag in a horizontal orientation, a positioning device for receiving and horizontally positioning the spout attachment bag transferred from the first transfer device, a second transfer device for transferring upward the spout attachment bag positioned by the positioning device and changing the spout attachment bag from the horizontal orientation to a vertical orientation so that the spout attachment opening faces upward and is horizontal, and a detection device. The position of the spout attachment opening on the positioning device is detected by the detection device and is compared to a preset reference position, so that any amount of deviation between the two positions is corrected, thus keeping the height positions of the spout attachment openings of the spout attachment bags changed to a vertical orientation steady.
Abstract:
A transport bag (15) for transporting and/or storing articles comprises a front wall (21b) and a back wall (21a) that are flexibly connected to one another via a bottom section (21c) so as to be movable back and forth between a first configuration in which the front wall and back wall form an upwardly open bag that can be filled from above, and a second configuration in which the front wall and back wall lie closely alongside one another and form a bag that is folded together, wherein the back wall (21a) is extended upward above and beyond the height of the front wall (21b) with a support section (15a) for fastening the transport bag (15) to a transport device (10.2). Easy filling and emptying of the transport bag (15) is achieved by providing an opening (16, 19, 20) that automatically brings the transport bag (15) into the first configuration and keeps the transport bag there, and allows a deliberate shift from the first configuration into the second configuration.
Abstract:
A bulk bag discharge assembly comprising a main frame assembly and a bag conditioning assembly. The main frame assembly defines a bulk bag receiving region having a discharge support base structurally configured to receive a bulk bag thereon for discharging. The bag conditioning assembly comprises opposing conditioner frames, each having a proximal end, a distal end, and an impact face, and at a proximal end, pivotably coupled to the main frame assembly. A powered cylinder is pivotably coupled to the main frame assembly at a first end, and to the first conditioner frame at a second end. The conditioning assembly is structurally configured to impact a side of a bulk bag positioned on the discharge support base, without impacting a bottom of a bulk bag, wherein the distal end of the first conditioner frame is directed at least partially in an upward direction within the bulk bag receiving region.
