Abstract:
The present invention relates to an interlocking unit, comprising one or more tongues and one or more grooves being provided with mechanically integrating locking means, wherein at least a part of said one or more tongues or at least a part of said one or more grooves, or both, is provided a polymer film having a Tg of higher than about −15° C. The present invention further relates to a floor covering, a wall covering, a method of producing an interlocking unit and uses thereof.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a device for assembling longitudinal edges of panels, laths or wainscots (1) consisting of a male portion (2), for equipping the longitudinal edge of said panels, laths or wainscots (1) and of a female portion (3) with matching shape for equipping the other longitudinal edge of the panels, laths or wainscots (1). The male portion (2) is in the form of a longitudinal tongue inclined upwards, the female portion (3) having matching cross-section and inclination. The device is equipped with vertical load transfer elements in service position. The invention is more particularly useful in the building sector, in particular for flooring, wall facing or ceiling finish, with panels, laths or wainscots made of different materials, such as wood, skin materials and synthetic materials.
Abstract:
Floor panels are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system comprising a tongue with rocker arms that allows locking by a vertical turning motion. The tongue has an inner part mounted in a sideward open fixation groove in a first edge and an outer part extending beyond a vertical plane, the inner part is fixed in the sideward open groove, wherein the tongue has at least one rocker arm extending in the length direction of the tongue, the rocker arm having a displaceable pressing protrusion that during locking is in contact with a second edge and a displaceable locking protrusion that in locked position cooperates with a tongue groove, wherein the locking protrusions are displaced outwardly away from the main tongue body when the pressing protrusion is pressed and displaced inwardly towards the inner part of the tongue.
Abstract:
Floor panels are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system including a tongue with rocker arms that allows locking by a vertical turning motion.

Abstract:
A hardwood floor with a flexible locking mechanism is disclosed. The floor board has a male locking apparatus on one end and a female locking apparatus on the opposite end. Two adjacent floor boards are engaged by sliding the male locking apparatus of one floor board into the female locking apparatus of an adjacent floor board. The female locking apparatus includes a flexible lower lip that moves downward when the male locking apparatus engages the female locking apparatus.
Abstract:
A flooring includes rectangular floorboards with long sides and short sides, the floorboards being joined in a herringbone pattern, long side to long side and long side to short side, wherein the floorboards have a surface layer of laminate, and the long sides of the floorboards have pairs of opposing mechanical connectors which at least allow locking-together both horizontally and vertically by inward angling.

Abstract:
Floorboards for installation of floors in herringbone pattern are formed with two opposite sides inverted relative to each other. The invention further comprises methods for producing and making floorings comprising such floorboards, as well as fitting pieces and sets of parts for such floorings.
