Abstract: A control apparatus for a hybrid vehicle is provided with: an air-fuel ratio determinator configured to determine an air-fuel ratio of an internal combustion engine in a predetermined period until speed change by a transmission is actually performed; and a controller configured to control at least one of the internal combustion engine and an electric motor in such a manner that a possible amount of torque down of the internal combustion engine is increased if the air-fuel ratio of the internal combustion engine is lean in the predetermined period. By this, it is possible to avoid a detrimental effect, such as a torque shock, deterioration of durability of a friction material, and the like, which can occur in the speed change.

Abstract: A transmission includes a drive shaft, an output shaft, a housing, and a first through third planetary gear sets. Six shift elements include a first brake, a second brake, and first through fourth clutches. The shift elements are selectively actuated, by which ten forward gears and one reverse gear can be. Each planetary gear set features at least one sun gear, one planetary gear, one planetary carrier and one ring gear. The drive shaft and the output shaft are arranged in a manner axially offset to each other. The drive shaft is connectable to the sun gear of the third planetary gear set and the second brake through the first clutch, and is connectable to the planetary carrier of the third planetary gear set through the second clutch. The planetary carrier of the third planetary gear set is connected to the first brake.

Abstract: A power transmitting apparatus includes a transmission gear mechanism and a power split mechanism including a first rotation element connected to a first input member, a second rotation element connected to a rotary machine, and a third rotation element connected to the drive shaft via a first output member. The transmission gear mechanism is configured to transmit a torque to the first input member and the first rotation element via a second output member. The transmission gear mechanism and the power split mechanism are arranged on the same rotation axis as an output shaft of an engine. The transmission gear mechanism and the power split mechanism are arranged in the order of the transmission gear mechanism and the power split mechanism from the side closer to the engine. The second output member and the first input member are connected to each other by a spline or a serration.

Abstract: When a power-on downshift via an intermediate shift stage accompanied by input switching control is required and a predetermined shift stage is a shift stage lower than the intermediate shift stage, an electronic control unit performs torque phase control in a torque phase control time shorter than the torque phase control time that is set when the predetermined shift stage is a shift stage higher than the intermediate shift stage. Accordingly, it is possible to complete disengagement of a disengagement-side element early and to suppress a rapid increase of an input shaft rotation speed due to a clutch torque remaining.

Abstract: A multi-speed transmission in planetary design for a vehicle includes a housing, a first shaft (1) as a drive (An), and a second shaft (2) provided as an output (Ab) that is arranged in a manner axially parallel to the drive. Three planetary gear sets, additional shafts, along with six shifting elements are also provided, through which the actuation of several gears are realized. Machine elements are provided for the transfer of torque between the drive and the output. The first shaft is connectable to the planetary gear carrier of the second planetary gear set, to the sun gear of the first planetary gear set, to the ring gear of the second planetary gear set, to the planetary gear carrier of the first planetary gear set, and to the first spur gear stage. The second shaft is connected or connectable to the first machine element and to the second machine element.

Abstract: A power shiftable multi-stage transmission of a planetary design and disposed between an input drive shaft and an output shaft for a vehicle. The multi-stage transmission has two parallel shaft trains, six shift elements, at least two spur gear stages and three planetary gear sets. Each of the planetary gear sets has a sun gear, a ring gear and a planet carrier combined in a carrier having multiple planetary gears. The two shaft trains may be connected to one another via the at least two spur gear stages. Different transmission ratios, between the input drive shaft and the output shaft, may be achieved by selective engagement of the six shift elements such that a plurality of forward gears, at least nine forward gears, and at least one reverse gear, may be implemented.

Abstract: An automatic transmission, which is configured such that there is no difference of rotation between a third sun gear and an intermediate shaft in a state where a second clutch is brought into a release state and a seventh speed stage is established, is provided. In the automatic transmission, at the time of a gear shift from a tenth speed stage where second and third clutches and a first brake are brought into an engagement state to a seventh speed stage where first, third, and fourth clutches are brought into an engagement state, the fourth clutch is engaged and the first brake is released to establish the seventh speed stage with the second clutch in the engagement state. Then, the first clutch is engaged and the second clutch is released to make transition to the seventh speed stage with the second clutch in the release state.

Abstract: In a control apparatus for a vehicle, when it is not determined that a downshift to a second gear stage should be carried out and an accelerator depression amount change rate is equal to or smaller than a predetermined value when it is determined that a downshift to a first gear stage should be carried out, a single downshift command to the first gear stage is output. When it is not determined that the downshift to the second gear stage should be carried out and the accelerator depression amount change rate is larger than the predetermined value when it is determined that the downshift to the first gear stage should be carried out, a current gear stage is maintained. Therefore, a skip downshift to the second gear stage can be carried out when it is determined that the downshift to the second gear stage should be carried out.
