    Abstract: Provided is a tank that can improve the adhesion between a mouthpiece and a liner. The tank includes: a liner; and a mouthpiece disposed at an opening part of the liner, the mouthpiece having a hole, wherein the liner has an inner face part that is a part extending around an inner face of the hole of the mouthpiece from an opening part of the hole of the mouthpiece, and an outer face part that is a part extending around an outer face of the mouthpiece from the opening part of the hole of the mouthpiece, and at an end part of the inner face part, crystallinity of the liner distributes in a dispersing state but not in a form of layer.

    Abstract: A pressurized gas tank comprises at least two cylinders and a rail capable of fluidly connecting the at least two cylinders. At least one cylinder includes a base for connection to the rail. The rail includes at least one reception area of a shape substantially complementary to a shape of the base. The base has a shape substantially revolutionary about a first axis and comprises a number at least equal to n of angularly equidistant tapped holes. The at least one reception area comprises a number equal to n of ports, in the form of an arc of a circle, angularly equidistant, of width substantially equal, by greater value, to a diameter of a tapped hole and of angular extent substantially equal to 360°/n.

    Abstract: A composite cylinder assembly may comprise a tube liner including a first domed portion defining a first liner neck, a second domed portion defining a second liner neck, and a cylindrical wall. The cylinder assembly may comprise at least one port. The port may comprise an outer diameter configured to fit into an inner diameter of a liner neck and a lip including an outer diameter that is greater than the inner diameter of the liner neck. The port may comprise a swage recess having an outer diameter that is less than the inner diameter of the liner neck and may be configured to press-fit into the liner neck. The lip may be configured to provide a surface area to weld the port to the liner neck. The swage recess may be configured to provide an area to swage the liner neck to the port.

    Abstract: A commercial hybrid tank includes a metal liner with an upper wall and a lower wall. The upper wall and the lower wall define a cavity therebetween. A weld joint joins the upper and lower walls together. A fiber winding layer is wrapped around an outer surface of the metal liner. A method for manufacturing a commercial hybrid tank includes overlapping surfaces of an upper wall and a lower wall to form a metal liner defining a cavity. The method includes joining the surface of the upper wall and the surface of the lower wall together by welding to form a weld joint between the upper wall and the lower wall. The method includes wrapping the metal liner with a fiber winding layer around an outer surface of the metal liner to form a hybrid tank.
