Abstract: A sheet having undergone the process of applying catalyst ink onto at least part of a surface of a transported sheet to a predetermined thickness is dried so that a solvent evaporating from the catalyst ink is recovered, and the sheet having undergone the process of transferring a catalyst layer formed on the transported sheet after the solvent evaporates onto another member so that the catalyst layer is removed is cleaned by using the recovered solvent as cleaning liquid so that at least part of the residue of at least the catalyst ink left on the sheet is removed. The thus cleaned transported sheet, when the usage count thereof is smaller than or equal to a quality assurance count, is reused in the application of the catalyst ink. As a result, in the manufacture of the catalyst layer using the catalyst ink, the amount of emission toward the outside is reduced.

Abstract: A model learning system comprises a server and a plurality of vehicles having control devices configured to be able to communicate with the server and configured to perform learning related control relating to machine learning. The server is configured to judge if among the plurality of vehicles, there is a specific vehicle mounting a repair part scheduled for repair, a replacement part scheduled for replacement, or an outdated part and, when there is a specific vehicle, to transmit an instruction to the specific vehicle to stop learning related control. The control device is configured so that, when receiving a stop instruction, it makes the learning related control stop.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a membrane electrode and gas diffusion layer assembly includes: applying a catalyst ink including an ionomer to a second surface of an electrolyte membrane while conveying a first sheet in which a first surface of the electrolyte membrane is supported by a back sheet; drying the catalyst ink by blowing air vibrated with ultrasonic waves onto a surface of the catalyst ink to produce a second sheet in which a catalyst layer is provided on the second surface of the electrolyte membrane; forming a first roll by winding the second sheet; and producing a third sheet by stacking a gas diffusion layer on the catalyst layer and pressing them in a stacking direction as heating to join the catalyst layer and the gas diffusion layer while conveying the second sheet unwound from the first roll.
