Abstract: A device for the storage of compressed hydrogen gas comprises a plurality of glass capillary tubes each having a sealed extremity and an open extremity, wherein said plurality of glass capillary tubes is sheathed in an external tubular cover, and wherein the open end of a bundle of said tubular covers is housed in an adaptor, and wherein said adaptor is suitable to allow compressed hydrogen gas to be added to, and to prevent said hydrogen gas from escaping from, said glass capillary tubes.

Abstract: A step of forming a low-angle helical layer on an outer surface of at least part of each liner dome portion and an outer surface of a liner cylindrical portion, a step of forming an inner hoop layer on an outer surface of the low-angle helical layer on the liner cylindrical portion, and a step of forming a mixed layer by alternately laminating a low-angle helical layer and an outer hoop layer on an outer surface of the inner hoop layer and low-angle helical layer on each liner dome portion. Then, on the liner cylindrical portion, 90% or more of the sum of the thickness of the inner hoop layer and the thickness of the outer hoop layer in the mixed layer is arranged within the range of 75% of the fiber reinforced plastics layer adjacent to the liner in a thickness direction of the fiber reinforced plastics layer.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a valve for a compressed gas cylinder, comprising: a valve body with an inlet, an outlet and a passage connecting the inlet with the outlet; a shut-off device of the passage with an actuating pin extending in the passage; a check-valve between the shut-off device and the inlet, the check valve comprising a seat and a movable closing member initially held at a position distant from the seat by contact with a guiding surface and movable past the position by the pin so as to cooperate with the seat and prevent a refilling flow of gas from the outlet to the inlet. The guiding surface is on a tubular portion fixed to the valve body and comprising at least one radial aperture so as to allow the refilling flow of gas to by-pass the closing member when in the distant position.

Abstract: The high pressure tank comprises a tank main body including a liner made of a resin and a mouthpiece made of a non-resin material and mounted to an open end of the liner; and a reinforcement layer provided to cover the entire tank main body and have pressure resistance. The liner includes a first contact surface arranged approximately perpendicular to a central axis of the liner to come into contact with the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece includes a second contact surface arranged to come into contact with the first contact surface of the liner. One of the first contact surface and the second contact surface includes projections, and the other includes recesses in which the projections being fitted. The second contact surface is formed in an approximately circular shape.

Abstract: A disposable cartridge for holding compressed medical gas includes a substantially cylindrical canister. The canister is delivered by an elongate cylindrical body that is tapered to a reduced diameter end portion having a discharge port or opening formed therein. The discharge port is covered by a pierceable tip that seals the canister to hold compressed medical gas with an interior chamber of the canister. The tip is selectively punctured to discharge the medical gas through the opening for use in a medical procedure.

Abstract: The invention relates to a gas distribution valve unit comprising a valve body (1) comprising a gas outlet orifice (6) via which the gas can leave the valve body (1), a first internal gas passage (3) fluidically connecting a gas inlet orifice (2) to the gas outlet orifice (13), a gas passage control system arranged on the first internal gas passage (3), and a control element (5) that a user can operate and that collaborates with the gas passage control system to control the passage of gas in the first internal gas passage (3), and a device (7) that indicates pressure or the gas autonomy. According to the invention, the valve body (1) comprises a second internal gas passage (11) fluidically connected to the first internal gas passage (3), and the pressure or autonomy indicating device (7) is fixed at the upper end (1a) of the valve unit, and comprises a pressure tapping (8) in fluidic communication with the second internal gas passage (11) so as to measure the pressure of the gas inside said second internal gas passage (11). Abstract: The invention relates to a device for elastic suspension of an assembly of reservoirs (50, 60) on the underbody of a motor vehicle.
