Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for parallel optimization of continuously running quantum error correction by closed-loop feedback. In one aspect, a method includes continuously and effectively optimizing qubit performance in-situ whilst an error correction operation on the quantum system is miming. The method directly monitors the output from error detection and provides this information as feedback to calibrate the quantum gates associated with the quantum system. In some implementations, the physical qubits are spatially partitioned into one or more independent hardware patterns, where the errors attributable to each hardware pattern are non-overlapping. The one or more different sets of hardware patterns are then temporarily interleaved such that all physical qubits and operations are optimized. The method allows for the optimization of each section of a hardware pattern to be performed individually and in parallel, and can result is O(1) scaling.

Abstract: Embodiments of a bus interface system are disclosed. In one embodiment, the bus interface system includes a master bus controller and a slave bus controller coupled to a bus line. The master bus controller is configured to generate a first set of data pulses along the bus line representing a payload segment. The slave bus controller is configured to decode the first set of data pulses representing the payload segment into a decoded payload segment. The slave bus controller is then configured to perform a first error check on the decoded payload segment. Furthermore, the slave bus controller is configured to generate an acknowledgment signal along the bus line so that the acknowledgement signal indicates that the decoded payload segment passed the first error check. In this manner, the master bus controller can determine that the slave bus controller received an accurate copy of the payload segment.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for verifying biodata by verifying, in real-time, whether there are errors in biodata received from a client terminal. The method may include the steps of: receiving a request to upload biodata from the client terminal and storing the biodata to a storage system; extracting sequences from the biodata and verifying whether the sequences are valid data; upon detection of errors in a sequence, calculating an error ratio of the sequence and, when the calculated error ratio exceeds a threshold value, terminating the upload of the biodata.

Abstract: According to an aspect of the present inventive concept there is provided a method for identifying a cause for a failure of a computer-implemented test performed on a latest software code revision in a sequence of a plurality of software code revisions, the method comprising: identifying a first revision of said sequence of revisions for which said test passes and a second revision of said sequence of revisions which is subsequent to the first revision and for which said test fails, determining a first change between the software code of the first revision and the software code of the second revision, generating a first modified version of the software code of the latest revision using the determined first change, determining whether said test passes or fails when performed on the first modified version, in response to determining that said test fails when performed on the first modified version: identifying a third revision and a fourth revision of said sequence which are intermediate the latest revision and the second revision, wherein the third revision is a revision for which said test passes when said revision is modified using the determined first change, and wherein the fourth revision is subsequent to the third revision and is a revision for which said test fails when said revision is modified using the determined first change, determining a second change between the software code of the third revision and the fourth revision, generating a second modified version of the software code of the latest revision using the first change and the second change, determining whether said test passes or fails when performed on the second modified version, in response to determining that said test passes when performed on the second modified version, providing a message indicating at least the fourth revision as including a cause for said test failing when performed on said latest software code revision.

Abstract: A method and system for SharePoint single web application recovery. Specifically, the method and system disclosed herein overcome the existing problem of data loss that incurs when a SharePoint farm (SPF) (i.e., or more specifically, the configuration database within the SPF) is restored due to the failure of just a single web application that executes therein. The data loss transpires because restoring the SPF leads to the overwriting of data associated with all web applications, and not just the failed web application, that executes on the SPF. The method and system disclosed herein addresses this dilemma through the assembly of web application topology metadata pertinent to recovering any web application periodically prior to a web application failover event, determining that a web application has entered a failed state and, subsequently, triggering and executing the restoration of just the failed web application based on the determining.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for writing data to a first media using a set of data structures to reduce potential errors when reading the data from the first media is described. The method includes writing, user data to a set of memory cells in the first media; and storing, in response to writing the user data to the set of memory cells, a first set of parity bits associated with the user data in a first buffer that is held within a second media separate from the first media and is a different type than the first media, wherein the first set of parity bits provide error correction information for correcting errors introduced to the user data while stored in the set of memory cells or read from the set of memory cells.

Abstract: A flash memory device includes a flash memory configured to store a plurality of pages and a control circuit coupled to the flash memory. The control circuit is configured to retrieve data from a page of the flash memory, determine a number of zeroes or ones of the retrieved data, determine whether the number is between a first value and a second value, and determine that the retrieved data has one or more errors based on determining that the number is not between the first value and the second value.

Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods are provided that include a controller configured to receive a first data packet from a memory device; determine a bit error count for the first data packet; and determine whether the bit error count exceeds a predetermined threshold. When the bit error count exceeds the predetermined threshold, the controller corrects errors identified in the bit error count; generates and inserts pre-defined data into the first data packet at a location where errors occurred in the first data packet; and generates and inserts a tag into the first data packet. The tag includes information indicating a size and a location of the pre-defined data in the first data packet.
