    Abstract: A device includes a set of processing circuits arranged in subsets, a set of data memory banks coupled to a memory controller, a control unit, and an interconnect network. The processing circuits are configurable to read first input data from the data memory banks via the interconnect network and the memory controller, process the first input data to produce output data, and write the output data into the data memory banks via the interconnect network and the memory controller. The hardware accelerator device includes a set of configurable lock-step control units which interface the processing circuits to the interconnect network. Each configurable lock-step control unit is coupled to a subset of processing circuits and is selectively activatable to operate in a first operation mode, or in a second operation mode.

    Abstract: In one example, a circuit includes a first node to receive an analog signal that is an amplitude modulated radio-frequency signal for a digital signal. An output node is configured to provide an output signal indicative of rising and falling edges of an envelope of the analog signal. The rising and falling edges are indicative of rising and falling edges of the digital signal. A first current path is disposed between a power supply node and the first node. The first current path includes a first transistor coupled between the first node and a first bias source. The first bias source is coupled between the first transistor and the power supply node. The output node is coupled to a first intermediate node in the first current path between the transistor and the first bias source. A control terminal of the first transistor is coupled to the output node via a feedback network.

    Abstract: The MEMS gyroscope has a mobile mass carried by a supporting structure to move in a driving direction and in a first sensing direction, perpendicular to each other. A driving structure governs movement of the mobile mass in the driving direction at a driving frequency. A movement sensing structure is coupled to the mobile mass and detects the movement of the mobile mass in the sensing direction. A quadrature-injection structure is coupled to the mobile mass and causes a first and a second movement of the mobile mass in the sensing direction in a first calibration half-period and, respectively, a second calibration half-period. The movement-sensing structure supplies a sensing signal having an amplitude switching between a first and a second value that depend upon the movement of the mobile mass as a result of an external angular velocity and of the first and second quadrature movements. The first and second values of the sensing signal are subtracted from each other and compared with a stored difference value to supply information of variation of the scale factor.

    Abstract: In an embodiment, PhotoPlethysmoGraphy (PPG) signals are processed by detecting peaks and valleys in the PPG signal, segmenting the PPG signal to provide a time series of PPG waveforms located between two subsequent valleys in the PPG signal, applying to the waveforms in the time series pattern recognition with respect to a reference PPG waveform pattern produced based on a mathematical model of the PPG signal by assigning to the waveforms in the time series a recognition score. A resulting PPG signal is produced by retaining the waveforms in the time series having an assigned recognition score reaching a recognition threshold, and discarding the waveforms in the time series having an assigned recognition score failing to reach the recognition threshold.
