Abstract:
The present invention relates to a bio-sensing device capable of automatically detecting a sensing code and a sensing method thereof. The bio-sensing device has a bio-sensing strip and a process-and-display unit. The bio-sensing strip has a passive component, wherein a physical value of the passive component is able to present a sensing code. When the bio-sensing strip is inserted into the process-and-display unit, the process-and-display unit reads the sensing code to produce an appropriate compensation value of a sample. Moreover, by the sensing method, the process-and-display unit is able to detect the sensing code of the bio-sensing strip, and automatically, to access, calculate, compensate, and display the sensing code of the sample.
Abstract:
A processor and a cache control method are provided herein. The processor includes a plurality of caches and a control unit. The caches are respectively controlled by a plurality of cache enable signals to be activated. The control unit generates the cache enable signals according to a power mode for selecting and accessing a subset of the caches in response to the power mode, wherein the number of the subset of the caches is determined by the power mode. Therefore, the processor can activate the caches as requirement according to the power mode for reducing power consumption of the caches.

For mounting in a host on a motherboard over memory modules in insertion slots and cooler modules on CPUs on the motherboard to guide currents of air in carrying waste heat from the cooler modules and the memory modules to the outside of the host, an adjustable air director is disclosed to include a main air duct shell, which has sliding tracks on the top wall thereof, and a supplementary air duct shell, which is attached to one lateral side of the main air duct shell and has sliding coupling devices respectively coupled to the sliding tracks and movable with the supplementary air duct shell relative to the sliding tracks to adjust the transverse width of the adjustable air director subject to the arrangement of the CPUs and the insertion slots on the motherboard.

An open-loop color management system comprises an indicating means, a controller and an LED driver. The indicating means is for indicating the operation status of the LED backlight module. The controller is for generating a control signal based on the operation status by reference to a look-up table. The LED driver driving the LED backlight module based on the control signal, so the chromaticity of the LED backlight module may be substantially constant over time.

A surface contact card latching assembly (100) is formed in a portable electronic device. The latching assembly includes a receiving portion (11) and a latch module (12). The receiving portion is configured for receiving the surface contact card, and a first end of the receiving portion forms an entrance (112) via which the surface contact card can enter or exit. The latch module includes a blocking tab (120) and an elastic latch (122). The blocking tab extends from the receiving portion for partially covering the receiving portion. The elastic latch is disposed at the first end of the receiving portion.

A manufacturing method for a hybrid one-piece design of a wax pattern of a golf club head includes the steps of: prefabricating a first wax pattern in a first molding assembly, the first wax pattern having a connecting portion; inserting the first wax pattern into a first mold cavity of a second molding assembly which has a configuration substantially corresponding to that of a first component of the golf club head; filling liquid wax into a second mold cavity of the second molding assembly which has a configuration substantially corresponding to that of a second component of the golf club head; and cooling the liquid wax in the second mold cavity to form a second wax pattern joined to the connecting portion of the first wax pattern.

A modular heat exchanger includes: two finned heat sinks, each finned heat sink has multiple guiding plates and a mounting recess; a securing assembly for securing the two finned heat sinks; a heat conduction pipe mounted in the mounting recesses; multiple modular blocks linearly arranged, and each modular block has multiple inlet through holes and multiple outlet through holes; multiple water pipes, each water pipe has two ends mounted through the inlet through holes and the outlet through holes respectively; and multiple coolers mounted to an outer sidewall defined on at least one of the modular blocks. It is convenient to assemble, disassemble or expand the modular heat exchanger, so as to improve performance of the modular heat exchanger. When one of the coolers fails, it is able to reach and detach said failed cooler by disassembling some parts of the modular heat exchanger, which is convenient.

A memory controller includes a clock detector and a microprocessor. The clock detector is utilized for detecting if a specific pin of the memory controller has a clock signal thereon to generate a detecting result. The microprocessor is coupled to the clock generator, and is utilized for determining which type of memory devices that the memory controller is applied to according to the detecting result.
