Abstract:
A system for allocating fuel stations to movable bodies includes an onboard unit, a station unit and a server. The onboard unit stores and updates information about a movable body. The station unit disposed at a fuel station which supplies fuel to the movable body stores and updates information about the fuel station. The server, which is connected to the onboard unit and the station unit through networks, allocates certain fuel stations to the movable body which requires fueling, based on the information about the movable body and the fuel station. When a difference of distance resulting from a subtraction, a movable distance minus a station distance, is smaller than a certain threshold, the server determines a necessity of supplying fuel to the movable body, allocating a fuel station which keeps an amount of stored fuel necessary for fuelling the movable body.
Abstract:
A detection apparatus for detecting the process end point in the removal process of a layer on a wafer in an IC or other semiconductor device manufacturing process. This point can be detected in-situ and at high precision even when there is a pattern on the surface, or when there is no distinct change in the polishing layer, or when there is disturbance caused by a difference in the detection position or the slurry. Two or more characteristic quantities are extracted from a signal waveform obtained by irradiating a substrate surface with white light and detecting the reflected signal light or the transmitted signal light or both, fuzzy rules, etc., are used in performing detection by using these two or more characteristic quantities to perform a logical operation, and tuning is performed.

Abstract:
There are provided a display apparatus and a display method, with which compressed image data that is to be decompressed can be transmitted to the display apparatus in an environment in which a transmission capacity is not always secured, and good image display is realized. An example of the display apparatus is an active matrix display apparatus formed by using thin-film transistors formed on an insulating substrate. In the active matrix display apparatus, a circuit that receives an image data signal from an external system via a non-contact transmission path and amplifies the image data signal, a circuit that processes the image data signal, and a memory circuit that stores the processed image data are integrated on the insulating substrate.
Abstract:
A power supply management control unit 14 has a target output current calculator 50 including a correction processor 52 which compares an upper-limit output current (Ifc_LMT) of a fuel cell with a requested output current (Ifc_CAL) calculated by requested output current calculator 42. When the requested output current (Ifc_CAL) exceeds the upper-limit output current (Ifc_LMT), limiting the output current of the fuel cell, the correction processor 52 corrects a target output current (Ifc_CMD) to be equal to a current which is calculated by applying an open voltage (Vcap_o) of a capacitor to a map (Ifc/Vfc map) representing the correlation between an output current and an output voltage of the fuel cell. After the limitation of the out-put current of the fuel cell is canceled, the correction processor 52 keeps correcting the target output current (Ifc_CMD) until the open voltage (Vcap_o) of the capacitor becomes equal to or greater than the output voltage of the fuel cell.
Abstract:
A thin film semiconductor device and a method for producing it are described. In the thin film layer of semiconductor of the device, a plurality of large size single-crystalline grains of semiconductor are formed in a regulated configuration, and each of single crystalline grains is equipped with one unit of electric circuit having a gate electrode, a source electrode and drain electrode. Such regulated arrangement of large size single-crystalline grains in the semiconductor layer is realized by a process including a step of irradiating the layer of amorphous or polycrystalline semiconductor with energy beam such as excimer laser so that maximum irradiation intensity points and minimum irradiation intensity points are arranged regulatedly. The device can have a high mobility such as about 500 cm2/V sec.

Abstract:
An apparatus for carrying out a fine servo control and a rough servo control with respect to the rotation of a motor for rotating a recording medium in accordance with information recorded on the recording medium. A fine servo signal is generated on the basis of a reproduction clock, filtered by a first filtering device, and used for the fine servo control. A rough servo signal is generated on the basis of a frame synchronizing signal, filtered by a second filtering device, and used for the rough servo control. The first filtering device has a first frequency band, and the second filtering device has a second frequency band. The upper limit of the second frequency band is lower than that of the first frequency band.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a bias circuit of a bipolar transistor for the high frequency power amplification, and the bias circuit comprises a bipolar transistor for the temperature compensation, a resistor for the temperature compensation connected to a collector thereof, a field effect transistor, and a source resistor connected to a source thereof. The bias circuit comprises a two stage transistor circuit in which a connection point between the bipolar transistor and the resistor for the temperature compensation is connected to a gate of the field effect transistor, and an output voltage is taken out from a connection point between the source of the field effect transistor and the source resistor. In this bias circuit, the thermal runaway resulting from a temperature rise can be prevented, and a large high frequency output can be obtained in a non-linear operation region of the high frequency input power—output power characteristic.
