A constant velocity joint includes a male element (4) having at least two trunions (8) and a shaft (12) with an outside diameter (DAE). A respective wheel (32) is mounted to rotate on each trunion (8). The joint also includes a female element (20) having, for each wheel (32), a pair of paths (22, 24) and defining a path primary circle (PCD). The ratio of the outside diameter (DAE) of the shaft (12) to the path primary circle diameter (PCD) is greater than 0.55.

A constant velocity joint (1) comprising: a male element (2) with multiple arms (4), a female element (8) having a central axis (X′-X′) and defining tracks (9A, 9B) which are symmetrical in relation to a radial longitudinal plane (P), and an outer roller (12) with a rolling surface (30). The tracks and the rolling surface define two contact points (Z1, Z2) therebetween. The tangent planes of the track and rolling surface coincide and are parallel to the plane (P) at not less than one contact point. The cross profiles of the tracks and rolling surface at not less than one contact point are rectilinear or convex.
Abstract:
Materials for coating, coating compositions, methods and articles of manufacture comprising a nanoparticle system or employing the same to impart surface modifying benefits for all types of hard surfaces are disclosed. In some embodiments, dispersement of nanoparticles in a suitable carrier medium allows for the creation of coating compositions, methods and articles of manufacture that create multi-use benefits to modified hard surfaces. In some embodiments, actively curing the coating composition on the hard surfaces, including, but not limited to by radiative heating the air surrounding the hard surface with the coating thereon can be used to increase the durability of the hard surface coating.
