    Abstract: A sheave (100) for a passenger conveyor system is provided. The sheave (100) comprises a sheave axis (150) about which the sheave (100) rotates; a cylindrical sleeve (105); and a bearing (120a, 120b) centred on and arranged to rotate about the sheave axis (150). The cylindrical sleeve (105) includes an outer surface (110) including a groove (155) arranged to receive a belt; and an inner surface (115) defining a cylindrical cavity (122) centred on the sheave axis (150). The bearing (120a, 120b) includes an outer race (125a), an inner race (130a) and one or more rolling elements (135a) therebetween, wherein the outer race (125a) comprises a protrusion (140) arranged to hold the bearing (120a, 120b) within the cylindrical cavity (122) due to engagement between the protrusion (140) and the inner surface of the cylindrical sleeve (115).

The governor assembly includes: a sheave configured to rotate about a central axis (X-X) thereof at a speed related to the speed of movement of an elevator car; a plurality of masses mounted to the sheave for rotation therewith about the central axis (X-X) and configured to move from a first radial position to a second radial position, radially outward of the first radial position, when a speed of rotation of the sheave meets or exceeds a set speed; a sensor configured to detect that the plurality of masses have reached the second radial position; and a brake moveable from a non-braking position in which the sheave is free to rotate to a braking position in which the brake contacts the sheave so as to slow or stop rotation of the sheave.

    Abstract: A dynamic car assignment method implemented by an elevator system is provided. The elevator system includes a plurality of elevators. The dynamic car assignment method includes an assignment, by the elevator system, of a first elevator car of the plurality of elevators to pick up a passenger in response to an elevator call. The elevator system then detects that the first elevator car is fully occupied prior to the first elevator car arriving to pick up the passenger. Further, the elevator system dynamically assigns a second elevator car of the plurality of elevator cars to pick up the passenger in response to the elevator call and in response to detecting that the first elevator car is fully occupied.

    Abstract: A system and a method for detecting passenger movement, an elevator-calling control method, a readable storage medium and an elevator system are provided by the present disclosure. The system for detecting passenger movement includes: a Bluetooth matrix installed in an elevator landing area, the Bluetooth matrix including at least three Bluetooth modules, and each of the Bluetooth modules being configured to broadcast a Bluetooth signal to the elevator landing area respectively; wherein the system for detecting passenger movement acquires location information of a passenger carrying a personal mobile terminal by using Bluetooth signals broadcast by at least three Bluetooth modules; the system for detecting passenger movement further includes: a movement prediction unit configured to fit a movement trajectory of the passenger in the elevator landing area based on multiple sets of the location information, and predict the movement trajectory to be a calling trajectory or a non-calling trajectory.
