Abstract:
In a radio communication system a first radio station performs communication by the use of a first radio signal. A second radio station receives a second radio signal which is indistinguishable from the first radio signal. A third radio station is in a radio communication area of the first radio station and a radio communication area of the second radio station. A communication format conversion unit generates a third radio signal by converting a communication format of the second radio signal to a communication format which is distinguishable from the first radio signal, and communicates with the third radio station by the use of the third radio signal.
Abstract:
A terminal configured to perform communication using a base station, includes a communication device that acquires billing information stored on an external storage device via a radio communication link with the external storage device, and a controller that performs a transmission operation to transmit the billing information acquired from the external storage device to a billing device, the billing device being connected to the base station via a network, storing original billing information for use in billing related to the communication that the terminal performs using the base station and temporarily switching from the original billing information to the received billing information when the billing information is received from the external storage device.
Abstract:
A wireless communications system includes a base station configured to use a plurality of bands; a terminal apparatus configured to communicate with the base station, using the plurality of bands simultaneously, wherein the base station includes a first controller configured to assign band identification information to each of the plurality of bands; a first communication interface configured to broadcast the band identification information of each band through a broadcast channel or an extended broadcast channel, to perform at least one of transmission and reception of user data using the plurality of bands simultaneously. The terminal apparatus includes a second communication interface configured to perform at least one of reception and transmission of the user data by using the plurality of bands simultaneously; a second controller configured to control at least one of reception and transmission of the second communication interface based on the broadcasted band identification information of each band.
Abstract:
A wireless communication apparatus communicates with another wireless communication apparatus, using multiple frequency bands. A notifying unit notifies the other wireless communication apparatus of capability information on capability of the wireless communication apparatus to handle in parallel first-length guard intervals and second-length guard intervals. A transmitting unit transmits first data with the first-length guard intervals in a first frequency band and transmits second data with the second-length guard intervals in a second frequency band. A control unit schedules transmission of at least one of the first data and the second data based on the capability information.
Abstract:
A base station that can transmit a synchronization signal at a predetermined transmission interval in a plurality of cycles includes a processor configured to continuously transmit the synchronization signal in a plurality of radio signals; and control radio measurement of a mobile station connected to the base station such that the mobile station detects the synchronization signal under a condition in accordance with second information that has been scaled by using first information.
Abstract:
A terminal device includes: a transmitter configured to transmit a scheduling request for an uplink (UL) resource; and control circuitry configured to stop an ongoing random access procedure when a media access control protocol data unit (MAC PDU) is transmitted using a configured Uplink (UL) grant other than a UL grant provided by a random access response in the random access procedure, wherein the configured UL grant indicates a resource configured prior to the ongoing random access procedure, wherein the MAC PDU includes a buffer status prior to the MAC PDU assembly.
Abstract:
A radio base station includes: a radio communicator configured to perform radio communication; and a first controller that includes a first scheduler configured to perform a first scheduling that is at least a first part of a scheduling for the radio communication; and a second controller that is coupled to the first controller via a network, wherein the second controller comprises a second scheduler configured to perform a second scheduling that is at least a second part of the scheduling for the radio communication.
Abstract:
A communication terminal includes: a terminal capability information controlling unit that notifies a base station of terminal capability information related to whether or not the communication terminal is, as a function thereof, capable of using a first frequency that is unlicensed; and a reception radio unit and a transmission radio unit that, on the basis of whether or not the communication terminal is capable of using the first frequency, perform either communication using the first frequency and a second frequency that is licensed or communication using the second frequency. The base station includes a communicating unit that, on the basis of the terminal capability information provided in the notification issued by the terminal capability information controlling unit, performs either communication using the first frequency and the second frequency or communication using the second frequency.
Abstract:
A wireless communications system includes a first wireless apparatus and a second wireless apparatus. The first wireless apparatus transmits a paging message that includes information indicating a plurality of cells. The paging message causes the second wireless apparatus to transition from an idle state to a connected state. The second wireless apparatus perform processing of connecting to a cell selected based on the information included in the paging message transmitted from the first wireless apparatus.
Abstract:
A wireless communication system includes a terminal configured to performed wireless communication simultaneously using a first-type cell enabling connection without association with another cell and a second-type cell connectable by being associated with the first-type cell; and a base station configured to form the first-type cell and transmit a broadcast signal giving notification that a cell formed thereby is the first-type cell. The terminal selects the cell as the first-type cell, based on the broadcast signal.
