    Abstract: A gas appliance includes a burner, a gas valve, an igniter, a thermocouple, and a control device. The control device is adapted to execute a control method comprising the following steps: controlling the igniter to ignite and controlling the gas valve to open; receiving a detected voltage output from the thermocouple; controlling the igniter to stop igniting and keeping the gas valve open when the detected voltage reaches a first voltage value; receiving the detected voltage output from the thermocouple continuously, and controlling the gas valve to close the gas pipe when the detected voltage above a second voltage falls below the second voltage. The second voltage value is higher than the first voltage value. As such, an ignition procedure may be speeded up and the supply of the fuel gas may be interrupted more quickly when the flame is extinguished.

    Abstract: A plug member of a gas valve, having an axial bore, a first bore and a second bore located in a radial direction thereof to respectively communicate with the axial bore, and a first guiding slot and a second guiding slot recessed into an outer peripheral surface thereof. The first bore is larger than the second bore, and communicates with one end of the first guiding slot, while another end thereof is near the second bore. The first guiding slot becomes narrower from the first end to the second end. The second guiding slot has one end communicating with the second bore, and another end located between said first end and said second end.

    Abstract: A switching device includes a rod, a rotating shaft, and a valve assembly including a cover and a plug member. The cover engaged with the valve body has a first block section, a second block section, a space, and a threaded hole communicates with the space. The plug member is rotatably provided in a chamber of the cover, changing an area of an opening of an inlet hole. The rotating shaft has a projection is adapted to drive the plug member to rotate. A rod body of the rod has a threaded section engaged with the threaded hole. When the projection abuts against the first block section, the plug member seals the inlet hole. When the projection abuts against the rod, the plug member changes the area to a first area. When the projection abuts against the second block section, the plug member changes the area to a second area.

    Abstract: An ignition controlling device of a gas appliance includes a high-voltage provider, a controller, and a flame sensor. The gas appliance includes an ignition electrode and a burner, and the ignition electrode is beside burner. The high-voltage provider has an output terminal, and the output terminal is electrically connected to the ignition electrode to provide high-voltage pulses to the ignition electrode. The controller controls the high-voltage provider to provide the high-voltage pulses. The flame sensor is electrically connected to the output terminal of the high-voltage provider to detect a flame around the ignition electrode and the burner. After a flame is detected by the flame sensor, the controller controls the high-voltage provider to stop the high-voltage pulses.

    Abstract: A hot water supply system provided on a water pipeline, which includes a water inflow side and a water outlet side. The hot water supply system includes a plurality of water heaters; each includes a conduit, a heating device, a calculating unit, and a control unit. The conduit includes an inlet section, an outlet section, and a heating section in sequence, wherein the inlet section and the outlet section are connected with the water inflow side and the water outflow side respectively; the heating device heats the heating section; the calculating unit estimates a heating workload needed. If the heating workload of any water heater exceeds a predetermined upper limit workload thereof, the control unit of one water heater controls the other idle heating device to heat water, which ensures that water temperature of water provided to the water outflow side would reach a demanded water temperature.

    Abstract: A gas appliance comprises a combustion device, an ignitor, a gas valve, a blower, a detecting device, and a control device. A control method thereof comprises: the control device is operated in a detection mode in which the control device controls the ignitor to ignite and controls the gas valve as well as the blower to provide a fixed gas flow and a fixed air flow to the combustion device. After igniting the flames, the control device determines burning states detected by the detecting device; if matching a first state, the control device controls the gas valve and the blower in correspondence to a first control data of the first natural gas; if matching the second state, the control device controls the gas valve and the blower in correspondence to a second control data of the second natural gas. In this way, the gas appliance is suitable for burning natural gas generating various heating values.
