Abstract: An electronic device may be provided that includes a first processor and a second processor, the first processor to wirelessly receive a data packet from another device, and to determine a property (or type) of the received data packet. When the property or type of the received data packet is a first property or first type then the first processor to process the data packet. On the other hand, when the property or type of the received data packet is a second property or second type then the second processor to process the data packet.

The sensing unit includes an inertial measurement unit to obtain movement data of said sports implement during a swing of said sports implement and a swing analyzer to determine whether the swing is a horizontal shot or a vertical shot based on the movement data.

Abstract: Geofence crossing-based control systems and techniques are described herein. For example, a geofence crossing control technique may include receiving a location signal indicative of a range of locations in which a mobile computing device is located; receiving a velocity signal indicative of a speed and direction of the mobile computing device; generating, for each of a plurality of candidate geofence crossing times, a performance indicator based on the location signal, the velocity signal, and a boundary of the geofence; selecting a geofence crossing time from the plurality of candidate geofence crossing times based on the performance indicators; and transmitting a control signal representative of the geofence crossing time. Other embodiments may be disclosed and/or claimed.
