    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may support mobility between a non-terrestrial network (NTN) cell and a terrestrial network (TN) cell. If the UE is connected to an NTN cell, the UE may determine timing for a neighboring TN cell using a reference timestamp. A first network entity supporting the NTN cell may request the reference timestamp from a second network entity supporting the TN cell. The second network entity may output the timestamp in response to the request. The first network entity may obtain the timestamp and output an indication of the timestamp to the UE in a measurement gap configuration. The UE may use the reference timestamp to determine timing for a measurement gap and may monitor for a signal (e.g., a synchronization signal) from the second network entity supporting the TN cell during the measurement gap.

A user equipment (UE) may be configured to receive, while the UE is in wireless communications with a first serving cell supported by a base station, an indication to activate or deactivate a second serving cell supported by the base station. The UE may receive a reference signal from the base station via the first serving cell, the reference signal received a duration of time after receipt of the indication, where the duration of time is an interruption period for the wireless communications with the first serving cell. The UE may then resume the wireless communications with the first serving cell based on the interruption period ending at receipt of the reference signal.

For instance, a user equipment (UE) may receive and measure a reference signal received from a node and may transmit, to the node, a channel feedback report using a resource, the channel feedback report including a first Doppler shift associated with measuring the reference signal. In some examples, the uplink resource may be one of a set of uplink resources indicated to the UE, and the uplink resource may be based on a mobility parameter associated with the UE. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may measure a second reference signal received from the node and may transmit, to the node, a second channel feedback report using a second resource, where the second resource is based on measuring the first reference signal and where the second channel feedback report includes a second Doppler shift associated with measuring the second reference signal.

    Abstract: A wireless communication network includes a user equipment (UE) to receive a set of instructions, from a base station, to perform a simultaneous change of a set of current bandwidth parts (BWPs) to a set of new BWPs in a set of cells. The set of instructions schedules set of slots for the UE to receive and/or transmit a set of downlink and/or uplink signals via the set of new BWPs, respectively. The UE also determines a delay associated with performing the simultaneous change of the set of current BWPs to the set of new BWPs, respectively, and determines whether it is able to receive and/or transmit the set of downlink and/or uplink signals via the set of new BWPs in the set of slots satisfying the delay, respectively. A base station is also included to communicate with the UE to effectuate the aforementioned operation.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a secondary cell activation message that indicates a secondary cell is to be activated at the UE in addition to a primary cell. The UE may identify, based at least in part on the secondary cell activation message, a slot location of a first portion of aperiodic reference signals for cell activation measurements and a slot offset between the first portion of the aperiodic reference signals and a second portion of the aperiodic reference signals, the slot offset comprising non-consecutive slots with respect to the slot location. The UE may measure one or more characteristics of the secondary cell based at least in part on the aperiodic reference signals.
