    Abstract: A stuffed toy with a heater is disclosed, which comprises a cover configured to resemble a predetermined object and a latent heat storage material disposed in the stuffing in the cover. When the latent heat storage material is heated it undergoes a transition from the solid phase to the liquid phase and stores a heat of dissolution. When it undergoes transition from the liquid phase to the solid phase, it gives off heat so as to maintain the temperature of the toy relatively constant for long periods of time.

    Abstract: A stuffed toy animal including an enclosed flexible fluid container and a soft furry exterior having a head portion and a plurality of extremities stuffed with a non-flammable material and a body portion accessible via a zipper for accommodating the flexible fluid container which is secured in place by a plurality of elastic securing straps. The flexible container is filled with a hot fluid if heat is to be radiated or filled with a cold fluid if heat is to be absorbed. The flexible container is then fitted with a leakproof stopper and inserted into the stuffed toy animal beneath the securing straps of the body portion. The stuffed toy animal may now be held by a human or be utilized as a pillow for a small pet for providing a warming or cooling effect.In a second embodiment, the fluid container is permanently formed within the body portion and access to the container is provided by removing the head portion.

    Abstract: A stuffed toy which is also useful as a bag for small articles comprising an outer stuffed fabric member having a figure or animal configuration, an inner frame assembly removably covered by said fabric member and consisting of parts detachably connected together and an illumination device mounted within said inner frame assembly. The inner frame assembly comprises a conical frame member, a cylindrical base member detachably connected at the upper edge to the lower end of the conical frame member and a bottom member detachably connected at the upper edge to the lower edge of said base member. The illumination device comprises a power source means mounted within said base member and having an upright socket receiving member, batteries mounted within said power source means, a socket received in said socket receiving member, a lamp screwed into said socket, a switch and electrical cord means electrically connecting between the components of the illumination device. The outer stuffed fabric member includes a slit and a fastener. The slit, when the fastener is open, allows the inner frame assembly to be mounted in the stuffed fabric member and to be removed therefrom to thereby convert the stuffed fabric member into a useful bag for small articles.

    Abstract: A temperature controlled therapeutic plush toy assembly is disclosed. The plush toy has a body, a thermal block contained within the body, and temperature retaining materials contained within the body. The thermal block can hold either hot or cold temperatures. The temperature of the thermal block can be modified by either placing the plush toy in the microwave or placing the plush toy in the freezer. The temperature retaining materials provide insulation to the thermal block and disperse the modified temperature of the thermal block throughout the body of the plush toy. The plush toy also has interchangeable temperature controlling garments. A heating garment is capable to heating the temperature of the body of the plush toy and a cooling garment is capable of cooling the temperature of the body of the plush toy.

    Abstract: A first aid hand puppet is disclosed that has a body part having a pouch, within which a removable element can be placed, which removable element is preferably a cold pack or a heat pack that can be inserted within the pouch. The puppet can be in different animal or character shapes and when the puppet is worn on the hand of an adult and placed over an injured area, the hot or cold pack sits in the palm of the hand of the adult for better control and ease of use.
