The ball joint is formed from the winding of a fabric of small thickness ranging between 20 μm and 150 μm and mixed with a resin comprising fillers. The fabric has the form of strips having a width ranging between 5 mm and 200 mm; the strips being crossed in several layers.

The bushing may be provided with a plurality of leaf springs coupled to one another to form parts of a wall. The bushing wall may have a first contact face and a second contact face opposite the first contact face. The bushing wall may also be configured to be positioned in a generally annular shape. Each of the leaf springs forming part of the bushing wall may be radially deflectable relative to each of the other leaf springs in order to self-align the bushing by the resilient response of each leaf spring.

The bearing inner race also includes a ground stud integrally connected to the body in an as-cast condition of the body.

In the synthetic resin bearing as a journal bearing fixed to an orbiting scroll or a main frame and relatively rotated with respect to a rotational shaft in a scroll compressor, the journal bearing is made of a PEEK material, and a thickness t of the journal bearing is smaller than a thickness t1 with which a temperature in a contact surface thereof with the rotational shaft during an operation of the scroll compressor corresponds to a glass transition temperature.
