Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention provide a method which includes: acquiring, by a control device, a first signal received strength of data that is received by each controlled device of at least one controlled device in a direct path mode, and a second signal received strength of data that is received by each controlled device of the at least one controlled device in a multipath mode; calculating a ratio of the first signal received strength to the second signal received strength of each controlled device, to obtain a signal received strength ratio of each controlled device; determining, according to the signal received strength ratio of each controlled device and a preset signal received strength ratio corresponding to the controlled device, whether the control device directs to the corresponding controlled device; and determining a target controlled device to which the control device directs, and displaying a control interface of the target controlled device.
Abstract:
A portable device, a display apparatus, a display system, and a method for controlling power of a display apparatus thereof are provided. The method includes sensing, while a portable device operates in a standby mode, a movement of the portable device using a motion sensor, converting, using the portable device, the standby mode of the portable device into a normal mode in response to the movement of the portable device being sensed, generating, using the portable device, a pre-power on signal in response to the standby mode being converted into the normal mode, transmitting the pre-power on signal to the display apparatus, and activating, by the display apparatus, some elements of the display apparatus in response to the pre-power on signal being received.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method for controlling a terminal device by using a headset wire connected to the terminal device. The method includes: recognizing a user's gesture based on a current detected in a specific region of the headset wire; acquiring control instruction corresponding to the user's gesture; and executing the control instruction. According to the present disclosure, when a current is detected in the specific region of the headset wire, a user's gesture is recognized based on the current, control instruction corresponding to the user's gesture is acquired, and the control instruction is executed to control the terminal. In the whole procedure, the user only needs to touch the specific region of the headset wire without using pressure button to produce current signal, thereby the operation of controlling the terminal device is convenient and fast.
Abstract:
A modular sensing device and method of operating a smart home device includes initiating a control mode from a plurality of modes on the modular sensing device, where the control mode determines a manner in which user gestures are interpreted. Based on initiating the control mode, a connection with the smart home device can be established. Furthermore, the modular sensing device and method can further include receiving sensor data corresponding to the user gestures, translating the sensor data into a corresponding control command, and transmitting the control command to the smart home device. The corresponding control command can be executable to control the smart home device in accordance with the user gesture.
Abstract:
Systems, interfaces, and methods for implementing the systems and interfaces includes selection attractive movement as the selection protocol, where a selection object is used to discriminate between selectable objects and attract a target object toward the selection objects, where the direction and speed of the motion controls, discriminates, attracts, and activates the selected objects.
Abstract:
A method for displaying pointing information that enables a user to intuitively determine a pointing position and a moving direction of the point position via a display and a device for performing the method are disclosed. The method includes displaying a plurality of items and selection information which is overlapped with at least a part of a selected item from among the plurality of items on a display, receiving movement information which relates to a remote control apparatus from the remote control apparatus, and if a position on the display which corresponds to the movement information is disposed outside a predetermined region which includes the selected item, modifying the selection information.
Abstract:
A light switch network comprises a plurality of light switch units, each comprising a gesture interface to sense a user gesture by receiving at least one gesture signal from a sensing zone, and configured to exchange one or more gesture status signals with at least one other switch unit in the network in relation to the received gesture signal; each switch being enabled, on receiving the gesture signal: in a first mode, to change a designated switch mode and/or state in response to the gesture signal; or in a second mode, to not change the designated switch mode and/or state according to one or more conditions associated with the status signals received from the other switch unit.
Abstract:
An apparatus for enabling manipulation of one or more audio objects may include a processor and memory storing executable computer program code that cause the apparatus to at least perform operations including detecting at least one audio object and operating a pointer in a selected direction by a user. The computer program code may further cause the apparatus to detect a gesture of the pointer in response to the operating of the pointer in the selected direction. The computer program code may further cause the apparatus to control at least one characteristic of the detected audio object in response to the detected gesture of the pointer or an indication of a selection of the at least one characteristic. Corresponding methods and computer program products are also provided.
Abstract:
A remote controlling device is disclosed that includes one or more motion sensors configured to sense a motion of the device. The remote control further includes a capacitive sensor and a power source. The capacitive sensor selectively couples the power source to the one or more motion sensors.
Abstract:
A user terminal apparatus is provided. The user terminal apparatus includes a communicator configured to communicate with an external apparatus; a detector configured to detect a touch operation of a user with respect to the user terminal apparatus; and a processor configured to control the communicator to generate a control command for controlling at least one of a plurality of speakers according to a type of the touch operation and configured to transmit the generated control command to the external apparatus.
