    Abstract: Aspects are provided which allow a UE configured with PUCCH repetitions to determine, in response to an indication from a base station to switch carriers for PUCCH repetitions, which CCs of a PUCCH group are configured for PUCCH repetitions, when CCs are configured for PUCCH repetitions, what resources in CCs are configured for PUCCH repetitions, and/or how to count PUCCH repetitions in configured CCs. For instance, the UE may receive a RRC-configured time pattern from a base station for switching between CCs of a PUCCH group for PUCCH transmissions, determine a time pattern of the CCs for the PUCCH transmissions from the RRC-configured time pattern, and transmit the PUCCH transmissions in the CCs according to the time pattern. The UE may also determine a subset of the CCs for the PUCCH transmissions, a resource allocation for each of the PUCCH transmissions, or a count for each of the PUCCH transmissions.

    Abstract: Methods and devices provide for enhanced robustness via graceful packet error detection and packet retransmission. One illustrative sensing method includes: generating a voltage pulse on a signal conductor coupled to a sensor array including one or more active sensors, the voltage pulse representing a broadcast read command (BRC) that defines a frame of one or more time-division-multiple-access (TDMA) slots, one slot for each active sensor to send a data packet; performing current sensing on the signal conductor to receive the data packet from each of the one or more active sensors; determining whether each said data packet is received error free; and requesting retransmission of each said data packet not received error free.

    Abstract: An information handling system within a broadcast system includes a memory and a processor. The memory stores a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgment/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) codebook. The processor receives multicast broadcast service (MBS) HARQ configurations and the HARQ ACK/NACK codebook. The processor receives an MBS payload one of a plurality of available downlink beams, and determines whether a decoding of the payload is successful or failed. In response to the decoding of the payload having failed, the processor provides a HARQ preamble on the one of the available downlink beams. The HARQ preamble identifies that the decoding of the payload has failed on the one of the available downlink beams.

    Abstract: A reliable wireless communication system needs good wireless signal detection and interference management. Traditional thinking for interference management mostly relies on interference cancellation or receiver design. In such a design, an interference issue occurs when a receiver is incapable of handling it. Various interference management embodiments are presented in the disclosure. Using HARQ retransmission incorporated with parameter changes, interference management may be improved through interference source control for more effective signal detection and interference management. Additionally, early termination parameters for decoding operation may be learned and implemented separately or jointly with HARQ retransmission. Furthermore, estimated interference power may be improved using machine-learning algorithm based on decoding statistics of the decoder. Biasing for the estimated interference power may be implemented separately or jointly with early termination parameter learning and/or HARQ retransmission request with parameter changes to improve signal detection and interference management.
