Abstract:
A contact image sensor unit includes: a light source (10) illuminating an original; a rod-like light guide (11) guiding light from the light source to the original; an imaging element (12) forming reflected light from the original on a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements; a sensor substrate (14) on which the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements are mounted; a frame (15) to which they are attached and which has a positioning part (200) for attaching the light guide (11) thereto; and a supporting member (16) which attachably/detachably supports the light guide (11) and is attachably/detachably attached to the positioning part (200). Since the light guide (11) can be attached to the frame (15) without using an adhesive, the deformation of the light guide (11), the warpage of the contact image sensor unit and so on can be prevented.
Abstract:
An optical component mounting structure includes an elastic member and a mounting portion. The elastic member applies pressure to an optical component toward a flat surface portion of a base. The mounting portion is provided at the base and mounts the elastic member. The elastic member has a pressing portion, a holding portion, and a positioning hole. The pressing portion has a tongue piece shape and elastically comes in contact with a light guide member. The holding portion supports one end of the pressing portion and holds elastically the mounting portion of the base. The positioning hole is formed through the holding portion and is to be engaged with each of a pair of positioning convex portions provided at the mounting portion of the base.
Abstract:
An image reading apparatus includes an array substrate in which a plurality of point light sources is mounted along the main scanning direction, a light guide member disposed on a surface of the array substrate that mounts the plurality of point light sources, and guiding light from the plurality of point light sources to the document surface, a frame for fixing the light guide member and the array substrate, a positioning unit that determines the positional relationship of the frame with the light guide member and the array substrate in a configuration in which the incident surface of the light guide member is in proximity to or in contact with the plurality of point light sources; and an image reading unit that uses reflected light when illuminating light from the plurality of point light sources through the light guide member onto the document surface to thereby read the document image.
Abstract:
An optical scanner forms an electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive member by scanning the photosensitive member with a light beam. The optical scanner includes: an incident optical system which at least comprises: a light beam emission device configured to emit a light beam; and a cylindrical lens configured to condense the light beam emitted from the light beam emission device, and a scanning optical system which at least comprises: a light deflecting device configured to reflect the light beam having passed through the cylindrical lens to deflect the light beam in a main scanning direction for scanning the photosensitive member; and a scanning lens configured to focus the light beam deflected by the light deflecting device on the photosensitive member to form an electrostatic latent image thereon. The incident optical system and the scanning optical system are divided by a light shielding wall.
Abstract:
An improved structure of carriage module has a datum board with a very flat surface, a linear light-source, a pair of side boards and a light-transforming module. The datum board has a flat-rigid connecting surface formed with a plurality of screw holes therein. The linear light-source is fixed at a front edge of the datum board for providing light. The side boards are respectively disposed on two sides of the connecting surface and assembled with a plurality of reflecting mirrors therebetween for reflecting light. The light-transforming module is assembled on a middle portion of the connecting surface for receiving an image and transforming the image into an electric signal. The datum board has an axle sleeve mounted on one side thereof for the carriage module to slide thereon.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a light source apparatus in which wasteful cost increases can be suppressed during the manufacture of various types of light source apparatuses, and replacement of a broken light source can be performed at low cost, a recording apparatus using the light source apparatus, and an image forming apparatus comprising the recording apparatus. A plurality of optical units comprising optical members (a light source element and a lens) for outputting a single beam are combined separably in row form. A holder is used as means for holding the optical units in row form.
Abstract:
There is disclosed an image reading apparatus constructed by an illuminating unit for illuminating an object in a line shape, an image forming optical system for forming a light, as an image, from the object illuminated by the illuminating unit, a line sensor for converting the light formed as an image by the image forming optical system into an image signal, and a frame for holding the illuminating unit and the line sensor, wherein a shape in which vertices of at least a part of the cross section of the illuminating unit are connected by straight lines is set to a polygon of a pentagon or more, so that an image can be stably read at a high quality.
Abstract:
An image reading apparatus includes a platen glass on which a document is placed, a light source which irradiates the document with a light beam via the platen glass, an imaging element which receives the light beam reflected from the document, so as to output an image signal, and an illuminance adjusting mechanism which adjusts the illuminance on a light receiving surface of the document by varying a distance between the light source and the platen glass while maintaining the number of light sources.
Abstract:
The invention includes at least one mechanic adjusting device between the chassis of a scanner and the light base mounted with a light tube. The adjusting device is operated to adjust the position of the light tube to change the relative position with the document to be scanned. Thus, the purpose of adjusting the lightness accepted by the line to be scanned on the document to be scanned can be achieved.
