Abstract:
A method includes defining a surface within a first captured image of an environment. The defined surface is identified in a second captured image of the environment. A graphic is overlaid on the surface identified in the second captured image. The second captured image is caused to be displayed to preview the graphic in the environment.

The processor system defines an embedded environment. The input ports and the processor system are integrated into the multimedia capture device. The input ports include an audio input port and at least one of a visual-capture input port or a digital-image input port.
Abstract:
A print media cartridge is configured to be received within a camera in fluid communication with a printhead of the camera. The print media cartridge comprises a cartridge shell having an ejection slot, and housing a print media dispenser including a supply of print media, the print media dispenser further including a cavity; an ink reservoir located within the cavity of the print media dispenser, the ink reservoir divided into a plurality of ink reservoir sections each for storing ink of a different type; and a plurality of bladders each provided in one of the plurality of ink reservoir sections, the bladders containing therein the inks. At least one of the ink reservoir sections has a volumetric dimension different to the other ink reservoir sections, and each of the ink reservoir sections have the same volumetric size.
Abstract:
For automatically transmitting an image file, a system transmits the file automatically through specifically specifying information for file transmission such as an address of a destination. The system includes a memory for storing a data file and an automatic transmission control file for briefly describing information of a file name of the file to be transmitted and a destination address, and a communication unit for transmitting the data file according to the automatic transmission control file. Therefore, the system can transmit the data file automatically only by having a memory storing the data file and automatic transmission control file connected to the communication unit.
Abstract:
A digital camera system includes a print medium having a printing area and a magnetically-sensitive area, and a digital camera. The digital camera includes a photo-width printhead for printing digital images on the printing area of the print medium, and a magnetic recorder for recording information associated with the digital images on the magnetically-sensitive area of the print medium at the same time as the printhead prints the associated digital images onto the printing area.
Abstract:
A camera sensing device includes an image sensor for capturing an image; a card reader including a linear image sensor having a series of LEDs for illuminating a card inserted therein, and a series of integrated lenses for focuses the illumination reflected from the card, whereby encoded instructions printed on a surface of the card is read; a printed circuit board (PCB) bearing a processor for manipulating the captured image in accordance with the encoded instructions; a print head unit including a second roller assembly and including an ink ejection printhead configured to print the manipulated image on print media fed by the second roller assembly; and a media and ink supply configured to supply ink and the print media to the printhead unit.
Abstract:
A digital camera is provided having a memory for digitally storing an image captured by the camera, and a plurality of substantially identical processing elements functionally interconnected to each other via a crossbar switch for processing the stored image. The processing elements are connected to the memory via a bus external to the crossbar switch. The crossbar switch is selectively configurable to pass data of the stored image directly between the processing elements.
Abstract:
An inkjet printhead for an inkjet printer includes a wafer substrate defining an ink supply channel therethrough; side wall portions extending away from a surface of the wafer substrate; a nozzle layer supported on the side wall portions and extending parallel to the surface of the wafer substrate, the nozzle layer and the side wall portions defining an array of nozzle chambers, the nozzle layer defining ink ejection ports and etchant holes, the etchant holes being of sufficient diameter to retain ink in the nozzle chamber by surface tension; and a plurality of thermal actuators cantilevered on the wafer substrate, each thermal actuator being respectively positioned in a nozzle chambers to partition the nozzle chamber. A portion of each thermal actuator facing away from a respective ink ejection port is hydrophobic to facilitate the forming of an air bubble between the thermal actuator and the wafer substrate.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an ink ejection integrated circuit (IC) for a printhead. The IC includes rows of elongate nozzle arrangements. Each nozzle arrangement defines an ink ejection port at one end and has an internal cantilevered actuator anchored at the other end so that the actuator can move to eject ink out though the ink ejection port. The rows are arranged in pairs with the ports of one of the rows being proximally located to the ports of the other row, for each pair.
