Abstract: An information processing system, an information processing method, a non-transitory recording medium, and an information processing apparatus. The information processing system captures a plurality of images at respective locations each associated with a location where the object is managed, or a process performed on the object to be managed, generates print data of a second slip associated with the plurality of objects to be managed, the second slip being different from a first slip associated with each of the plurality of objects, and controls a display to display, based on detection of the printed second slip from the image captured by the imaging device, the plurality of objects to be managed associated with the printed second slip, as being placed at the location or the process associated with the imaging device that captured the image of the second slip.

The first wireless network may be a network for performing a wireless communication via a first interface. The first communication apparatus may receive the wireless connection request via the first interface from the second communication apparatus which has received the trigger signal, and establish a first wireless connection via the first interface with the second communication apparatus so as to form the first wireless network.

Abstract: In an environment that comprises a facsimile server and a plurality of document transport modules, implementing a document queue; placing documents received at the facsimile server in the document queue; allocating document flows based on a resource utilization of the facsimile server to create a set of allocated document flows, each document flow in set of allocated document flows associated with at least one document transport module from the plurality of document transport modules; retrieving a document from the document queue using a document and providing the document to a document transport module associated with the document flow; and signaling the document transport module to send the document. The document transport module is responsive to the signal to route the document to target selected from a plurality of targets, the plurality of targets including a plurality of transports.

Abstract: Systems and methods for analyzing printed images are provided. One system includes a processing circuit configured to: determine a set of one or more locations on the printed image on the substrate to measure color values; determine a set of input tone values for the at least one ink; receive a set of measured color values corresponding to the set of locations on the printed image from a sensor; and determine a tone value increase error based on the set of measured color values and the set of input tone values. The at least one processing circuit is configured to determine the tone value increase error without requiring measured color values from an area having solid ink.

Abstract: According to exemplary methods, a print job is received into a computerized device. The computerized device includes a marking device having a programmed color space. The print job includes an electronic document and print job attributes with a spot color for use in rendering the print job. Raster processing of the electronic document is performed. An object in the electronic document involving the spot color is identified. Definition of the spot color is verified for the marking device. Responsive to the spot color not being defined for the marking device, color values for each pixel in the object are modified to zero. Overprint is enabled for the object so that underlying objects will show through.

Abstract: A feeding device to feed a conveyed medium stacked on a stacker, includes a first suction unit, a second suction unit, and third suction units. The first suction unit includes a suction chamber; a suction fan to exhaust air from the suction chamber; and a first driver to rotate the suction fan. The suction units are disposed above the conveyed medium stacked on the stacker. The second suction unit includes a rotary fan including a board and a plurality of walls extending from the board; and a second driver to rotate the rotary fan. The second suction unit generates a vortex flow directed to the conveyed medium. The plurality of third suction units is disposed in a direction perpendicular to a conveyance direction of the conveyed medium and attracts ends of the conveyed medium in the direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction.

Abstract: A minutes taking system includes a voice recognition apparatus and an image forming apparatus. The voice recognition apparatus receives voice signals from the image forming apparatus, performs voice recognition processing on the received voice signals, and returns voice recognition results to the image forming apparatus. The image forming apparatus includes voice input units, a storage unit, a voice transmission unit, a voice recognition result receiving unit, a minutes data creating unit, and an image forming unit. The storage unit accumulates the voice signals input from the voice input units. The voice transmission unit transmits a non-transmitted voice signal, among the voice signals stored in the storage unit, to the voice recognition apparatus when a predetermined condition is satisfied. The minutes data creating unit creates minutes data based on the voice recognition result received by the voice recognition result receiving unit.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus that is capable of converting an original color image into a monochrome image to which color scheme intention of the original color image is reflected appropriately. An extraction unit extracts colors used for characters and figures in color data. A first determination unit determines one of the colors as a base color. A second determination unit determines another of the colors as an accent color. An application unit converts the color data into monochrome data by applying a predetermined gray to the base color determined and applying a gray that is distinguishable from the predetermined gray and has a density higher than the predetermined gray to the accent color.
