Abstract: A nozzle assembly including an inner tube and an outer housing. The inner tube terminates at an outlet end and defines a first flow passage. The first flow passage directs first fluid flow to the outlet end in a primary flow direction. The outer housing includes a tubular side wall and an end wall. The tubular side wall defines a central axis. The end wall defines an exit orifice and an interior guide structure. The outlet end is axially aligned with the exit orifice. A second flow passage is established between the inner tube and the outer housing. The interior guide structure is configured and arranged relative to the outlet end to direct at least a portion of a second fluid flow from the second flow passage toward the outlet end in a direction initially opposite the primary flow direction for generating mixed fluid flow.

Abstract: A supply port receives supply of washing liquid. An oscillation chamber oscillates the washing liquid supplied through the supply port. A jetting section jets the washing liquid oscillated in the oscillation chamber to the outside. The jetting section includes a passage connecting the oscillation chamber and the outside. The washing liquid enters the passage from the oscillation chamber through an entrance, passing through the passage, and emitted through an exit to the outside. A jet port is provided between the entrance and the exit, having a narrower width than those of the entrance and the exit. An outer guide connects the jet port and the exit. An inner guide connects the entrance and the jet port, and configured to conduct the liquid oscillated in the oscillation chamber to the outer guide.

Abstract: An energy-saving and high-efficiency shower head capable of producing a pulsating stream includes a main body having an inlet opening, an upper cover and a cover plate connected to the underside of the main body, a water-stop mechanism, and a face plate. The cover plate is formed with a water-passing chamber and a pulsating chamber having an oblique hole. The pulsating chamber is provided with at least two diversion holes to form two outlet passages. The water-stop mechanism is composed of an impeller and a water-stop piece disposed on the impeller. The water-stop piece alternately blocks one of diversion holes when the impeller rotates to intermittently open and close the outlet passages corresponding to the diversion holes, providing a pulsating stream effect.

Abstract: The invention relates to a droplet dispensing device (4) comprising a reservoir (9) for containing a liquid medium (10), an outlet (11) for dispensing droplets of said liquid medium (10) from said reservoir (9), an actuation means (12) for generating and transmitting a mechanical oscillation at an excitation frequency, and a resonant structure comprising a piston (15) coupled to said actuation means (12) for transmitting said mechanical oscillation to the liquid medium (10) contained in said reservoir (9) such that droplets are formed from said liquid medium (10), wherein a resonance frequency of said resonant structure is sufficiently close to said excitation frequency, such that resonance occurs. The invention further relates to a UV or X-ray light source, comprising a droplet dispensing device (4) according to the invention, and a method for providing a stream, in particular a monodisperse stream, of droplets by means of the droplet dispensing device (4).
