Abstract: Disclosed are a method and system for generating a behavior profile for a new entity. The method is performed in response to and immediately after a new entity is added to a fraud detection system. The method includes generating a doppelganger behavior profile for the new entity based on feature data of the new entity and pre-existing entities. Generating the profile includes determining a similarity score for each pre-existing entity, ranking the plurality of pre-existing entities based on the score, selecting pre-existing entities based on the ranking, and combining behavior profiles of the preexisting entities to produce the profile. The method also includes assigning the profile to the new entity and monitoring the new entity. The method further includes detecting fraud, an anomaly, and/or malicious intent based on the profile, and automatically suspending an aspect of the new entity in response to the detection.

Abstract: Systems and methods for a contract-based offer generator is provided. A contract for a promotional offer on a product is received. Data is extracted from the contract. An offer band is accessed, and a plurality of test offers are selected from the offer bank by scoring each offer in the offer bank against the extracted data. The promotional offer and the selected plurality of test offers are deployed in a plurality of retail locations. This is done by maximizing orthogonality between the following variables: store sales, store out of stock rates, number of relevant SKUs carried in each store, temporal effects, discount depth, buy quantity and offer structure.

Abstract: Retailers need information about their competitor's pricing and promotions and marketing collaterals are one of the most vital sources of this information. Conventional approaches for extracting product names from marketing collaterals depends on large volume of data repositories and complex machine learning based approaches. The present disclosure extracts product name blocks from marketing collaterals using image processing techniques. The inputs to the present disclosure are seed words and the marketing collateral. A plurality of word level text regions from the image and text value are obtained. Further, a plurality of text characteristics corresponding to each of the plurality of word level text regions are extracted and matching seed word regions are obtained. Further a plurality of meaningful text blocks and a plurality of seed blocks are obtained. Finally, a plurality of product names are extracted using a matrix based product name detection technique and updated in the product dictionary.

Abstract: Content items are presented to users based on sensitivity scores indicating sensitivity levels of users to relevance of content items to queries. A system receives a query from a target user, retrieves a set of search results responsive to the query, and retrieves a set of content items, each of which has a relevance score to the query. The system applies a machine learning model to user data of the target user to output a sensitivity score, indicating a sensitivity level of the target user to relevance of content item to the query. The system then selects one or more content items based on the sensitivity score and the relevance scores of the content items, incorporates the selected content items into the search results, and sends the search results with the selected content items for display to the target user.
