The liquid crystal display device has red, green, and blue LEDs, each emitting a different color light, as a light source. An acrylic lens is mounted on the emission surface of the LED to change angular distributions of light from the LED. The shape of the acrylic lens varies depending on the color of the LED. The angular distribution of emitting light thereby differs by the color of LED to cancel out wavelength dependency of transmittance at each viewing direction in a liquid crystal panel.

According to the present invention, in a carrying system comprising a carrying vehicle and a manufacturing apparatus the interior of which is kept cleaner than a surrounding environment, manufactured articles to be transferred are prevented from being contaminated by foreign matter or the like attached to transfer ports. A carrying vehicle includes a running unit 14 that runs along a predetermined carrying path, a cleaning unit 12 that supplies cleaned air, a housing section 13 to which the cleaned air is supplied and in which manufactured articles are housed, a transfer port 11 which is formed in a side of a housing and through which a manufactured article is loaded into or unloaded from the housing section 13, and an air injecting section 19A that blows out air toward the transfer port 11.

A panel light source device includes: a light guide plate 1; a reflecting sheet 5, provided facing a rear face of the light guide plate 1, and an end of which is bent so as to face a side face of the light guide plate 1; a wire 4 disposed at a side face of the light guide plate 1 sandwiching the reflecting sheet 5 therebetween; and a slim case, wherein the slim case is constructed of a rear face case 7 a front face of which is open, the light guide plate 1, the reflecting sheet 5 and the wire 4 being housed therein through the front face thereof; and a front face case 6 engaged with the rear face case 7, the rear face case 7 having an reflecting sheet exposing section 14 formed so that a height of a portion of a side face in the wire side is lower than the other portion to expose the reflecting sheet 5. According to the present invention, there can be provided a panel light source device easy in an assembly work thereof.

A pressure-welded structure of flexible circuit boards in a liquid crystal display device having a group of lead terminals of flexible circuit boards connected with a plurality of terminals aligned on an end surface of a TFT glass substrate via anisotropic conductive films. A resin is applied on a surface opposite to the terminal surface of the flexible circuit boards, and an end portion of the resin is 0.1 to 10 mm away from an end portion of a resin applied on the terminal surface of the flexible circuit boards, thereby both resins applied on the terminal surface and on the other surface overlap each other by 0.1 to 10 mm. It is possible to improve not only the yield in module assembly but also the quality and reliability of the product.

A liquid crystal display device including a liquid crystal display panel, an illumination unit including a light-conducting plate having a protrusion protruded from a side surface of the light-conducting plate, and a housing having a bottom plate and a casing provided onto a bottom plate peripheral area for holding the light-conducting plate. A depression portion is formed to the casing of the housing. An inside of the bottom plate peripheral area is processed from roots of the end surfaces along the end surfaces so that a first slit which continues to the end surfaces is formed. The casing in a position separated from the end surfaces with a predetermined interval and an inside of the bottom plate peripheral area in this position are processed so that a second slit is formed. A portion of the housing composed of a part of the casing sandwiched between the first slit and the second slit and the bottom plate is supported to the housing in a manner of a fixed beam with respect to a load in the locating direction.

A display device comprising a front frame having an annular picture frame and having a pair of side faces and a pair of end faces provided in outer circumferential sides of the picture frame, a mold frame sandwiched by the pair of side faces and the pair of end faces, and a display panel arranged between the front frame and the mold frame. Stopper pieces for alignment of the display panel are formed in the side faces and the end faces. A display device in which the picture frame of the front frame can be narrowed is obtainable.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal display according to the present invention can prevent interference fringe on a display panel due to a switching noise of a DC/DC converter, therefore a high-quality image can be displayed. Either of input signals for a timing control circuit is also supplied to a PLL circuit and the DC/DC converter is controlled by an output signal of the PLL circuit, thereby enables to synchronize a switching frequency of the DC/DC converter and control signal.

An active matrix-type liquid crystal display device is provided with a black matrix which prevents light leakage between pixels, wherein the apertures in the black matrix in panel peripheral regions are made smaller than the apertures in the black matrix in the panel center region. Consequently, the occurrence of light leakage due to alignment anomalies arising from the horizontal-direction electric field between the signal lines and scanning lines and the pixel electrodes can be suppressed, and display quality can be enhanced without detracting from manufacturing efficiency or yield and without reducing the brightness of the liquid crystal display device, so that this invention affords excellent advantages.
