Abstract:
A rotary encoder and an optical wheel for the rotary encoder are provided. The rotary encoder further includes a light source module, a code plate and an optical sensor module. The light source module is coupled with the code plate. The optical wheel is rotary, and has imaging elements arranged annularly; at least one of the imaging elements is coupled with the code plate. The optical sensor module is coupled with at least one of the imaging elements. The light source module emits lights to the code plate, and the lights passing through the code plate forms an image which is then transmitted to the optical sensor module via the imaging element. When the optical wheel rotates, the image moves accordingly. The optical sensor module senses that the image moves. A method for generating a zeroing signal of a rotary encoder and a liner encoder are also provided.
Abstract:
A blower unit for use as part of an integrated blower/humidification system is described. The blower unit has an outer casing, which encloses and forms part of the blower unit, the casing including an air inlet vent. The blower unit further includes a humidifier compartment for receiving a humidifier unit with a separate gases inlet and outlet, the compartment having a heater base for heating the contents of the humidifier unit. The compartment also has a blower inlet port which aligns with the humidifier unit inlet in use, the blower providing a gases path through the casing between the inlet vent and the inlet port. The blower unit also includes a fan for providing a pressurized gases stream along the gases path, and a power supply unit for powering the fan. The gases path is routed over the power supply unit in order to provide a cooling air flow.
Abstract:
A connector for connecting a coaxial cable and a circuit board is disclosed. The connector includes a main body, a first holding portion, a second holding portion and a fixing structure. The first holding portion extends from a first end portion of the main body for holding a first insulation layer of the coaxial cable. The second holding portion extends from the main body in a position located between a second end portion opposite to the first end portion and the first holding portion for holding a braid layer of the coaxial cable. The fixing structure extends from the second end portion of the main body in a direction away from the second holding portion for disposing through at least one hole on the circuit board, so as to fix the coaxial cable on the circuit board.
Abstract:
A universal serial bus battery includes a universal serial bus interface, a battery, a charger, a comparator, a first switch, and a second switch. The comparator is configured for comparing the voltage at the universal serial bus interface and the voltage of the battery, and to produce an ON signal when the voltage at the serial bus interface exceeds the voltage of the battery, or to produce an OFF signal otherwise. The first switch is configured for establishing an electrical connection between the USB interface and the charger upon receiving the ON signal or cutting off the connection upon receiving the OFF signal. The second switch is configured for establishing a connection between the universal serial bus interface and the battery when the connection between the USB interface and the charger is terminated by the first switch.
Abstract:
A wireless communication device for a portable electronic device includes a plurality of wireless communication modules for processing a wireless signal according to a plurality of communication protocols, an antenna module for transmitting and receiving the wireless signal, and a radio-frequency switch circuit for determining which one of the plurality of wireless communication modules is electrically connected to the antenna module according to a switching signal. A transmission frequency band of the antenna module and an operation frequency band of the radio-frequency switch circuit cover a plurality of transmission frequency bands of the plurality of wireless communication modules.
Abstract:
A humidifier heater base assembly is disclosed for use in a humidifier which is used for heating and humidifying a flow of respiratory gases supplied to a user. The assembly preferably includes a heater plate having a thermally conductive portion and a perimeter portion around the perimeter of the heater plate, and a resilient member having an inner part attached to the perimeter portion. An outer part of the resilient member is adapted to provide a resilient perimeter flange around at least part and preferably the whole of the perimeter portion. The resilient member is adapted to allow the heater base to be fixed to the humidifier by the resilient perimeter flange in such a manner that the heater plate and the inner part can move relative to the humidifier in a direction substantially transverse to the general plane of the heater plate. At least a portion of the resilient perimeter flange remains stationary relative to the humidifier.
Abstract:
A magnetic recording medium is provided in the present invention. The magnetic recording medium including a substrate; a base layer disposed on the substrate; an intermediate layer disposed on the base layer; and a recording layer disposed on the intermediate layer and including a magnetic matrix and a plurality of non-magnetic particles percolated in the magnetic matrix.
Abstract:
An antenna module for wireless signal transmission of an electronic device is disclosed. The antenna module comprises a main body and a feed point. The main body is a rectangular metal sheet and comprises a hollow portion. The hollow portion extends inwardly from one side of the main body. The main body may be separated by the hollow portion to form a first radiating portion, a second radiating portion, and a third radiating portion. The feed point is connected to a feed line, and is used for feeding an electrical signal to the main body, such that the first radiating portion forms a first current path, the second radiating portion forms a second current path, and the third radiating portion combined with the second radiating portion forms a third current path so as to generate different operating bands.
Abstract:
An antenna module for a tablet personal computer is disclosed. The tablet personal computer comprises a main body and a housing with a screen, and the housing is pivotally connected to the main body. The tablet personal computer is capable of being switched to a tablet mode. The antenna module comprises an antenna device, a first magnetic element, and a second magnetic element. The antenna device is located concealably in the housing. The first magnetic element is coupled to an end of the antenna device. The second magnetic element is located in the main body. The second magnetic element is positioned corresponding to the first magnetic element in the tablet mode such that an end of the antenna device can be moved outside the housing due to a magnetic force between the first magnetic element and the second magnetic element.
