Abstract: A system for predicting a negative pressure of a brake booster of a vehicle includes: a driving information detector detecting driving information related to driving of the vehicle; and a controller determining a negative pressure of an intake manifold based on a pressure of the intake manifold and an atmospheric pressure which is the driving information and including a booster negative pressure predictor predicting the negative pressure of the brake booster by integrating over time a change rate according to a charging rate and a discharging rate of the negative pressure determined using a negative pressure of the brake booster determined in a previous cycle according to a logic for predicting the negative pressure of the brake booster and the negative pressure of the intake manifold of a current cycle and an imitated brake pedal force signal of the current cycle imitating an acceleration of the vehicle.

Abstract: A system for estimating a charging time of a vehicle battery includes: a measuring device configured to measure a temperature and a voltage of the battery; an electrical behavior predictor configured to predict, when a charging current according to the measured temperature and voltage of the battery is applied to the battery, at least one of a terminal voltage of the battery after an amount of unit time has changed, a state of charge (SOC), or an amount of heat generated; a thermal behavior predictor configured to predict, when the charging current is applied to the battery, the temperature of the battery after the amount of unit time has changed over time of the battery and coolant using the amount of heat generated predicted by the electrical behavior predictor; and a controller configured to determine an estimated charging time of the vehicle based on at least one of the predicted terminal voltage, the SOC, the amount of heat generated, or the temperature of the battery after the amount of unit time has changed over time of the battery and the coolant.

Abstract: A vehicle air conditioning system is provided and includes a heating duct through which internal air and external air are introduced and a cooling duct through which internal air and external air are introduced. A condenser is disposed in the heating duct and an evaporator is disposed in the cooling duct and is connected to the condenser. A phase change material (PCM) stores thermal energy of the internal air passing through the heating and cooling ducts. An internal/external air door controls the mixing of the internal/external air introduced into the heating and cooling ducts, and a PMC door controls the external air introduced through the heating and cooling ducts whether to pass through the PCM.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for reducing an exhaust hydrogen concentration in a fuel cell system includes a first air cut-off valve (ACV) blocking ambient air supplied to a cathode, a second ACV blocking exhaust hydrogen discharged from the cathode, and an air suction valve (ASV) operating in a first mode connecting the cathode and an intake port of an air compressor and in a second mode blocking connection between the cathode and the intake port of the air compressor. The apparatus also includes a controller for operating the ASV in the first mode to store air of the cathode while the first ACV is opened and the second ACV is closed when hydrogen is supplied to an anode, and for operating the ASV in the second mode to discharge ambient air through an exhaust line while the first ACV is opened and the second ACV is opened when ambient air is supplied to the cathode.
