Systems for automatically selecting a user's profile based on location include a device adapted to being tracked by location and a database that includes a user's preferences for routing calls. The user's calls are routed to the user based on the user's call routing preferences and the location of the device. Other systems and methods are also provided.

Disclosed is a device in an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) that provides IMS services to terminating non-IP (TNIP) devices. The method includes receiving a message to register a Public User Identity (PUID) at a TNIP device at a network-based device, the TNIP device being at an E.164 routing address, establishing, in a network device accepting communications where to send sessions destined for a PUID and providing information where to send sessions, the routing address as a final destination of sessions to the PUID based on the registration and an IP address of a network device with routing functionality based on telephone numbers as immediate destinations, and using information from the registration to route to the TNIP device, after providing IMS services, using the relationship between the PUID, the routing address and the IP address of the network device with routing functionality based on telephone numbers.

At least one embodiment of a method includes receiving a message waiting indicator signal in a first protocol, the message waiting indicator signal being received from a Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) based voicemail server, the message waiting indicator signal being configured to indicate that a message for a called party has been received by the PSTN based voicemail server. Some embodiment of a method include receiving a PSTN based identifier for an Internet Protocol (IP) based communications device associated with the called party and converting the received message waiting indicator signal from the first protocol to a second protocol, the second protocol being configured for communication to the IP based communications device.

Voice service over a next generation network is provided using Advanced Intelligent Network solutions. A voice over network communications signal is communicated from an analog communications device over a telecommunications network to a softswitch (SSW) complex that detects and decodes a directory communications address to identify an internal, secret line number (SLN) communications address and, if associated with an SLN, to activate a voice over network application trigger to enable voice communications over an Internet Protocol, data communications network.

Data architectures provide for managing Quality of Service (QoS) and/or bandwidth allocation in a Regional/Access Network (RAN) that provides end-to-end transport between a Network Service Provider (NSP) and/or an Application Service Provider (ASP), and a Customer Premises Network (CPN) that includes a Routing Gateway (RG). The data architecture includes a NSP access session record maintained at the RAN that defines QoS and/or bandwidth allocation for an access session, such as a Point-to-Point (PPP) access session, associated with the RG and the NSP. A corresponding NSP access session record is maintained at the NSP associated with the access session. The NSP access session record at the RAN and the corresponding NSP access session record at the NSP both define a QoS and/or bandwidth allocation specified by the NSP associated with the session or both define a QoS and/or bandwidth allocation specified by the RAN. An application flow record maintained at the RAN defines QoS and/or bandwidth allocation for an application flow associated with the RG and the ASP. A corresponding application flow record is maintained at the ASP associated with the application flow. Both the application flow record at the RAN and the corresponding application flow record at the ASP define a QoS and/or bandwidth allocation specified by the ASP.

A data network may be operated between a routing gateway for a subscriber and a data service provider providing a data service. More particularly, the data network may receive from the data service provider an identification of the routing gateway, an identification of the data service provider, and data flow characteristics of the data service for a session of the routing gateway using the data service provided by the data service provider. Responsive to receiving the identification of the routing gateway, the identification of the data service provider, and the data flow characteristics for the data service, the data flow characteristics of the data service for the routing gateway may be saved at the data network and forwarded to the routing gateway. Related data networks, data service providers, routing gateways, and computer program products are also discussed.

Systems and methods for silent message delivery are provided. One such embodiment includes a message receiver configured to receive a text message and convert it to a corresponding speech message. A message router is connected to the message receiver and configured to route the speech message dependent on information included in the speech message in accordance with a messaging directory. Preferably, a Voice Profile for Inter-system Messaging (VPIM) agent is connected to the message router and configured to convert the speech message to a corresponding VPIM message and deliver it to a voice mail system. Methods are also provided for delivery of a text message as speech message to a voice mail system without initiating a call to a telephonic device.

Methods of providing messages for a user can include accepting entry of a message for the user, and accepting entry of a location criteria associated with the message. Physical location information for a wireless communications device associated with the user can be obtained, and the message for the user can be transmitted when the physical location information for the wireless communications device matches the location criteria associated with the message. Methods, systems, and computer program products for implementing a locator service are provided. The method includes receiving, at a computer system, object identification information and location identification information from a vehicle. The location identification information indicates the presence of the vehicle at a parking space. The method also includes creating an occupancy record that includes the object identification information and the location identification information. The method further includes collecting fees from an operator of the vehicle during an exiting process based upon information in the occupancy record. The location identification information is received at the computer system via a radio frequency identifier associated with the parking space.
