Abstract: Provided are a substrate, an organic material layer provided above the substrate at a position overlapping at least a detection region, a plurality of detection electrodes provided between the substrate and the organic material layer in a direction orthogonal to the substrate, a first switching element provided to each of the detection electrodes, a plurality of gate lines coupled with some first switching elements and extending in a first direction, a plurality of signal lines coupled with some first switching elements and extending in a second direction intersecting the first direction, and a drive circuit configured to supply gate drive signals having potentials determined for the respective gate lines based on a predetermined code to the respective first switching elements through the gate lines.

Abstract: According to an aspect, an imaging display system includes an imaging device, a display device, and a processing device. The imaging device includes a rolling shutter image sensor that takes an image. The display device displays the image. The processing device performs image processing on the image. The imaging display system is mounted on a movable body that moves in a certain direction on a reference plane. The imaging device is arranged at an angle with respect to a moving direction of the movable body on the reference plane. An imaging scanning direction of the image on the image sensor is horizontal with respect to the reference plane. A display scanning direction of the image displayed on the display device coincides with the imaging scanning direction.

Abstract: According to an aspect, the liquid crystal display device includes: an expansion coefficient determining unit that determines an expansion coefficient of each of partial areas based on a signal level of the first, the second, and the third colors; a luminance level determining unit that determines a luminance level of each partial area based on the signal level; a signal processing unit that uses the expansion coefficient to expand the signal level; and a light source control unit that controls brightness of a light source based on the expansion coefficient and the luminance level. The light source can change the brightness of the partial areas individually. The light source control unit controls the light source such that the brightness of the light source in a partial area having a luminance level equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold is higher than the brightness based on the expansion coefficient.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, an imaging display system includes an imaging device and a display device, which operate synchronously with each other. The imaging display system includes a control device. The control device is configured to measure light exposure when the imaging device captures an image and determine whether the measured light exposure is insufficient, and control the display device to decrease a refresh rate and the imaging device to prolong an exposure time, when determined that the light exposure is insufficient. The first scanning time for the imaging device to scan the image and the second scanning time required for the display device to scan the display panel are constant.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a light source device includes a plurality of light emitting elements including at least first and second light emitting elements, lightguide, first circuit, second circuit, and controller. The lightguide includes a first surface on which light from light emitting elements is incident and a second surface through which the light exits. The first circuit connects light emitting elements in series. The second circuit can bypass each of light emitting elements. The controller turns on light emitting elements using the first circuit if light emitting elements function normally, and if one of light emitting elements functions abnormally, the controller turns on the light emitting element functioning normally using the second circuit.

Abstract: A display system includes an imaging apparatus installed on a mobile body; a display apparatus installed at a position different from that of the imaging apparatus on the mobile body and displaying a post-processing image; a first sensor detecting vibration at or near the imaging apparatus; a second sensor detecting vibration at or near the display apparatus; a first image processor clipping out a preprocessing image from an image captured by the imaging apparatus, based on the first sensor detection result; and a second image processor clipping out the post-processing image from the preprocessing image based on the second sensor detection result. The first image processor moves a clip-out region of the preprocessing image in a direction to counteract vibration at or near the imaging apparatus, and the second image processor causes a clip-out region of the post-processing image to follow vibration at or near the display apparatus.
