Abstract:
To provide a center device for accommodating a variety of situations which may occur when a home-use game machine, or the like, is used, in which a plurality of users use their own controller devices such as an input device. A center device communicates with a plurality of devices in either a wired or radio manner, receives an instruction operation from a user of each device, and carries out a process based on the instruction operation, the plurality of devices each having unique identifier, including: a unit that obtains an identifier of a device; a unit that provides information concerning the device, the identifier of the device is not associated with the identifier of the user; and a unit that associates the identifier of the device selected by the user, the identifier of the user is already associated with the identifier of another device, with the identifier of the user.
Abstract:
Provided is a server system in which real-time communication based on a moving image group is performed between a number of users. The moving image collection/delivery server system accumulates moving images sequentially uploaded in real time via a network in a database, generates moving image thumbnails used to simultaneously display a plurality of moving images on a single display screen in real time, allocates the moving image thumbnails to a channel group adaptively generated from sequentially uploaded moving images, and delivers the moving image thumbnails to a terminal having a display and operating unit in real time via a network, and the sequentially generated moving image thumbnails are stored in an allocated channel in ascending order of shooting times and delivered to a plurality of terminals.
Abstract:
This invention is directed to improve a wear resistance and a damage resistance required for a rail of a sharply curved zone of a heavy load railway, comprising more than 0.85 to 1.20% of C, 0.10 to 1.00% of Si, 0.40 to 1.50% of Mn and if necessary, at least one member selected from the group consisting of Cr, Mo, V, Nb, Co and B, and retaining high temperature of hot rolling or a steel rail heated to a high temperature for the purpose of heat-treatment, the present invention provides a pearlitic steel rail having a good wear resistance and a good damage resistance, and a method of producing the same, wherein a head portion of the steel rail is acceleratedly cooled at a rate of 1° to 10° C./sec from an austenite zone temperature to a cooling stop temperature of 700° to 500° C. so that the hardness of the head portion is at least Hv 320 within the range of a 20 mm depth.
Abstract:
Advertisement information appropriated beforehand is inserted into contents such as a game downloaded by a user at the point that the user activates the contents, based on advertisement-insertable information within the game data or the like, and subsequently advertisement information is displayed at corresponding areas while the contents are running, thereby realizing an advertisement system capable of dealing with network infrastructures.
Abstract:
A computer system enabling mutual exchange of information between users and digital content, in a manner corresponding to each individual disk, comprises a plurality of computers each capable of being loaded with a disk having a unique disk ID, and a verification server capable of being connected with the computers via a network. Each disk has a unique ID, and the verification server has a user database for accumulating user information corresponding to the disk ID. The verification server identifies the disk based on the disk ID, and transmits data corresponding to the disk to the computer.
Abstract:
To provide an information output system and an information output method capable of providing appropriate information for the user's current situation. The operation device comprises a state detection section for detecting a posture of the operation device, and a state information transmission section for transmitting state information to a home-use computer based on the state detected by the state detection section. The home-use computer outputs information depending on the state information transmitted by the state information transmission section.
Abstract:
In a contents distributing system, a monitoring server is equipped on a network with which all user terminals being capable of utilizing contents are allowed to connect, and a member card is issued to a user operating the user terminal. In the contents distributed from an information service server, a middleware for storing a history of utilizing contents (log data etc.) to the member card and for transmitting this history of utilizing contents along with a user ID to the monitoring server is embedded. The monitoring server generates utilization information indicating how much the particular contents are utilized by the user, based on the collected history of utilizing contents and the collected user ID.
Abstract:
In an entertainment, or any other information processing system, in order to provide a startup screen that does not become boring even after being started up many times, image drawing data created based on accumulated historical data is displayed each time it is started up. The historical information includes the system startup time, the idle time during which no game is executed, the number of times an application is started, the identification number of an optical disk and the application startup time. The display data used in the creation of image drawing data includes the number of drawing objects displayed on the startup screen, their display positions, display colors and opacity and the like.
Abstract:
It is an object of the present invention to provide an optical recording medium having a new information recording part and an entertainment system employing it. According to an optical recording medium of the present invention, a new information recording part (210) is formed on parts other than the information recordable part (200O, 200D, 200I), and information can be written, read, and erased.
Abstract:
A recording medium holder in which a recording medium and a recording device can be kept is supplied. The recording medium holder has an accommodating member (100) for accommodating the recording medium and the recording device, and an auxiliary accommodating member (700) in which a recording medium to be held can be accommodated. The accommodating member (100) has a first accommodating area (200) in which at least one recording medium to be held can be accommodated, and a second accommodating area (300) in which at least one recording device for recording data can be accommodated. The accommodating member (100) has a first member (110), a second member (120) and a link member (130) for linking the first and second members (110) and (120) to fabricate a folder-shaped structure. The auxiliary accommodating member (700) is detachably linked to the link member (130), and located between the first member (110) and the second member (120) when they are folded.
