    Abstract: An extendible bay for an expansion card includes a base, an electrical connector, and an extender bracket. The base defines an interior space that is sized to receive at least a portion of the expansion card therein, and has an elongated shape with a first end and an opposing second end. The electrical connector is coupled to the base and is configured to electrically connect with a corresponding electrical connector of the expansion card. The extender bracket is slidably coupled to the first end of the base and is movable relative to the base such that the length of the extendible bay between the extender bracket and the second end of the base is adjustable to match a length of the expansion card.

    Abstract: An adjustable cable clip is disclosed. The cable clip includes a base, a first strap, and a second strap. The first strap is coupled to the base. The first strap has a first interior surface, a first exterior surface opposing the first interior surface, and an aperture. The second strap is coupled to the base opposite from the first strap. The second strap has a second interior surface, a second exterior surface opposing the second interior surface, and a projection. The first strap and the second strap are configured to couple together to form a cable area by the projection coupling with the aperture such that the first interior surface touches the second exterior surface or the first exterior surface touches the second interior surface.

    Abstract: A computing system includes a computing tray for receiving a computing device; a latch attached to the computing tray for releasing the computing tray during installation or removal operations; and a lock assembly for preventing accidental release of the computing tray. The lock assembly includes a fixed bracket having two fixed sides, one of the fixed sides being a mounting side attached to the computing tray near the latch; and a movable bracket having two movable sides attached respectively to the two fixed sides. The movable bracket is adjustable relative to the fixed bracket between a releasing position and a secured position. The movable bracket allows the latch to release the computing tray in the releasing position, and the movable bracket physically blocks the latch from releasing the computing tray in the secured position.

    Abstract: An attachable support module for attachment to an electronic equipment casing. The support module allows the electronic equipment casing to be raised from a ground surface to allow cables to be attached to the underside of the casing. The support module includes a case having an exterior plate and a parallel interior plate. A support member is rotatably mounted between the exterior plate and the interior plate of the case. The support member has a collapsed position within the case and an extended position extending from the case. A pivot arm engages the support member in the collapsed position.

    Abstract: An insertion tool for assisting in the insertion of an OCP 3.0 type expansion card in an expansion card slot of a computer system is disclosed. The expansion card may be a pull tab type form factor that does not have a mechanism such as an ejector latch to assist in applying force to insert the card. The expansion card has a front panel opposite a distal edge connector. The tool has a handle and a head coupled to the handle. The head has two contact areas that contact different areas of the front panel of the expansion card. For example, one of the contact areas may be an extended side arm and the other area may be a lateral rib extending from the head.
