Abstract:
A polymer containing silane groups, a method for synthesizing same, and curable compositions including the polymer. The polymer containing silane groups has a very long shelf life and cures quickly with moisture. The polymer is suitable as an elastic adhesive or sealant or coating that can be applied at room temperature and has good heat resistance, or as a hot melt adhesive.
Abstract:
A moisture-curing adhesive composition has a) at least one polyurethane polymer having isocyanate groups, b) at least a silane adhesion promoter, c) at least one amine catalyst, and d) at least one chelate complexing agent. Compositions are suitable especially as adhesive or sealant, in particular for glass panes, for example in vehicle construction or vehicle repair, wherein the use of a primer or activator can be dispensed with.
Abstract:
Specific hydroxysilanes of formula (I), a method for the production thereof, the use thereof as a constituent of moisture-curing compositions, and silane-functional compounds produced therefrom, in particular silane-functional polymers and isocyanatosilanes. The hydrosilanes can be produced in a simple process with a high degree of purity and are storage-stable after production. Production from the reaction of lactides with aminosilanes is particularly advantageous. Hydroxysilane of formula (I), where n is 1 or 2.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a two-component composition consisting of a component A, which comprises at least one silane-functional polymer and at least one epoxy resin, and consisting of a component B, which comprises water and at least one amine epoxy adduct. The composition cures quickly into an elastic material with a high strength and durability and is particularly suitable as an adhesive and/or a sealant.
Abstract:
A one-part moisture-curing liquid-applied waterproofing membrane is disclosed as including a polyurethane polymer and two different aldimines as blocked amine hardeners in a specific ratio range. The membrane has a low odour, a long shelf life stability, a low viscosity at low solvent content, a sufficiently long open time to allow hand application and cures fast to a solid elastic material. The liquid-applied waterproofing membrane is particularly suitable for roofing applications, possessing high strength, high elongation and good durability under outdoor weathering conditions in a broad temperature range.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to curing agents for epoxy resins, containing at least one adduct of trimethylhexamethylenediamine and cresyl glycidyl ether. The curing agent has a low viscosity and cures quickly together with epoxy resins even in moist, cold conditions and without blushing to form films with a high hardness and surface quality, which scarcely undergo yellowing upon exposure to light. It is particularly suited for low-emission room temperature-curing coatings.
Abstract:
An amine which can be used in epoxy resin compositions that cure at room temperature. The amine dilutes the composition highly effectively, allows rapid, trouble-free curing, even in cold and damp conditions, and reduces brittleness. The amine is particularly suitable as a constituent of a curing agent for low-emission epoxy resin compositions that cure at room temperature, in particular for floor coverings.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to curing agents for epoxy resins, containing at least one adduct of a primary diamine and an aromatic monoepoxide, at least one primary diamine and at least one secondary diamine which is free of primary amino groups and free of hydroxyl groups. The curing agent is of low viscosity and cures, together with epoxy resins, rapidly and without blushing, even under damp, cold conditions, to form films of high hardness and low brittleness. It is particularly well suited for low-emission coatings that cure at room temperature.
Abstract:
A Mannich base of formula (1) and the use thereof as a component of a hardener for epoxy resins, wherein the Mannich base of formula (1) has a high Renewable Carbon Index. It makes it possible to produce high-quality and sustainable epoxy resin products which have a surprisingly good processability, cure rapidly and in an unimpeded manner at ambient temperature and form a pleasing surface at a high final hardness.
Abstract:
The use of a hardener that contains at least one amine of formula (I), for curing epoxy resins. The amine of the formula (I) has a high renewable carbon index (RCI) and allows for especially sustainable epoxy resin products. It can be surprisingly easily produced, is low odor, dilutes the epoxy resin especially well and allows rapid and trouble-free hardening with surprising little exothermic effects.
